  • Examples of brands being more sustainable with their packaging- The North Face sends their packaging to TerraCycle to be melted into pellets, to be reused
  • Asos uses 80-90% recycled plastic for their packaging
  • Biodegradable plastic- biodegrades with bacteria or degrades with moisture, heat and UV in only a few months
  • Compostable Plastic- safe for composting, however, it is very thin so can rip in transit
  • More brands should start to swtich to recycled plasitc packaging and paper packaging and recycled materials for their boxing

My brands website is very minimal, and their clothing uses subtle and minimal shades. 

    So, I wanted to make sure my pop-up window was fairly minimal and to the point. 
    In this sketch, the main focus is the middle. This will be at eye-level for the customer. I have drawn stacked boxes or crates key words that Réve En Vert uses on their website.

    Placed on the boxes will a few products that the brand will be selling in the pop-up shop, such as, handbags, skincare and homeware.

    Either side of the middle focus will be a faceless female adult mannequin wearing Réve En Vert clothing. One of the mannequins will be holding a sign saying 'plastic free fashion' which is remaking an image that the brand has on their website, of one of their models holding this sign.

    The whole point of this window design is to not be over the top with decoration and colour but to portray an important message and let the public know that this is was the brand Réve En Vert is all about

    The website below supply sustainable mannequins which is where I would buy mine from.  These can also be reused for future pop-ups or store designs. 

    GENESIS work with organisations that will inspect and certify raw materials and manufacturing technologies to ensure they protect the environment. They are members of 'SEDEX', therefore, they  have a strict code of conduct to create safe and fair working conditions. They put human rights first and ensure that they are using non-toxic materials, recycling and using energy efficiently. 

    This is great for my brands pop-up as it means that they coincide with what their brands mission and character is all about. Creating a safe and sustainable work environment.

H&M's conscious range is scattered all around the store rather than having a dedicated section. 
    Their planograms are straight forward high-street store layouts.
