Learning Types and Digital Tools by

Under each of the 6 learning types add your suggestion for a digital tool that could support that type of learning - you might need to scroll across to find all 6 types! If you are mentioning specific tools, why not add a link to them too, so other people can investigate? To make the link appear here, click on the link icon at the bottom of your post and paste the url into the box that appears. Don't forget to explain why the tool is good for that type of learning. If you are already using that tool, rate your experience of the tool by clicking on the stars (5 stars is very good!) and reply to the post and tell us a bit about your experience with it. Click the back button on your browser to return to the course.

Mostly they used Canva, Google slides and also they used Kahoot to improve our knowledge. I really like the method that they use . When they give group projects, they let us use Canva or Google Slides. It also improves our digital skills as well.

IXL is a very useful tool for students to learn social studies, mathematics, English (four skills), and science. Students can also do self-study because it includes videos and examples, so they can study before answering the quizzes on IXL. It also has a competitive level, so it is quite fun.

This helps them improve their comprehension and learn at their own level.

In class, I first teach the lesson and explain the content clearly. Then, I give students time to practice by drawing, discussing, or working in groups. At the end of the lesson, students present their ideas.

This is a helpful app where you can collect all your notes, files, or study resources organizely in the folder, and even ask the app to make some quizzes for your specific lesson. This is an organized app and will be helpful for those who love to keep their lessons in one place or have difficulty with keeping their notes in the notebook. For the link, you can easily type "Turbo Ai" on Google. It is not fully a free app, it might need some subscription for some features. However, you can use the free version, though it is a bit limited.

In March, I mentored teachers to present and facilitated an online teachers conference in Senegal. Although the conference was on Zoom for greater reach on a limited budget, we also recorded videos of some of the presentations due to the low bandwidth in some areas. Then the teachers were live for the Q&A. It worked out perfectly. Of course, they used Google Slides as well and much of our pre-conference communication was through Whatsapp.
