Sydney Elson- I learned from your presentation how to help students with learn best. Knowing now that they learn best when they get to choose as they will be more interested and curious about that subject. I will take from this that reflections will my students understand what they are learning and what they need help with. It will also help me understand as a teacher what i can do better at teaching.

Trini White- Your presentation shows me as a future teacher that i should challenge my students to do their best, show them their goals, and bring the best out of them. Your presentation was well put together and easy to understand. As a future teacher i want to take from your presentation as me being an intentionally inviting teacher, building their trust and and respect and having them respect me while also respecting them.

1. Sydney- Your book presentation is very educational and informative. I leaned that it is important to have real world connections and a good way to enhance this is by bringing in outside experts. Celebration encourages pride and ownership is something I will take with me to all my future class and really focusing on the students' successes in and out the classroom. I would not only be making their class time more enjoyable and a bit more comfortable but I will be helping prepare them for their future by building their self-confidence.

2. Haylee- I learned from your presentation that it is important to empasize individual value in order to help them recognize their strengths. I also plan to practice focusing on efforts too, and not just success, coming from a family that prioritizes success over everything else through effort. Real effort to me has always equated success. I am learning more everyday that it is simply not that simple for some individuals. So, I definitely want to try to put more effort into focusing on students' effort in the future.

3. Maia- In your presentation I learned a lot about independence, and as someone who was homeschooled for the majority of my life, I know how important it is for students to have a sense of independence. I also liked the part about how a strong and supportive leanring enviornment influences creativity and responsibily. I want to make sure in my future classroom I am helping the students by being supportive of them in not only their studies but also their self-growth, confidence, creativity, problem-solving, and independence; as these traits are just as important as education itself.

Sydney: I think our books were very similar in message. Students need to become innovative in the way they think to become productive in society. A few of the things you mentioned, like ownership, structure, reflection, feedback, and collaboration, help students to do this. I appreciate how your book put the teacher as a facilitator and used more of a progressivist standpoint. I love the images on your slide! It sounds like a good book!

Haylee: Start with the Heart is a book that's on my read list! I appreciate the fact that this book caters to caring deeply about their students. As teachers, we are not only educating but helping to shape the lives of the little minds in our classrooms, and some days that is the more important task. I really love the style of this book, but I also encourage you to play around with Canva more! It's an awesome tool once you know how to use it!.

Trini: Your slides are so catchy! I found your book very interesting in some of the classroom management slides (do I see some parli pro coming out?) The classroom conferences and meetings are a unique approach that I may try implementing into my own classroom with parli pro one day. Making students feel seen and heard is often just as important as teaching them new information. Overall is an awesome report, and you poured your heart and soul into it!

Maia: This sounds like an awesome book! I love the push for independent students because in today's age, they want everything handed to them and made easy. I think this would help students take ownership of their actions and work. I wish there were better implementation strategies listed! I may have to add this to my read list to learn more. Your slides are super cute!

1. Trini White - This book is so interesting how you described it I really enjoyed it. I think that is such a unique way to portray the environment of the school community relating it to a climate and wanting a positive one so it reaches around the whole school for better learning. The concepts referring to punishments do not teach are very convincing through this book and your visuals were very portraying of this perfectly. Looking specifically on what the students want through doing their best and improving as individuals is very vital to note. Making sure that they know their value is so important and continuous class talks about what they want to gain from learning is so important to help them and you grow as a teacher a well.

2. Cori Griffith - Your great highlighting through your book of how schools should definitely focus on opportunities and not obstacles is a very important thing to know in education. Being innovative as an individual through learning helps with real life skills as you said resilience empathy in growing your curiosity and creativity each day. Having an innovative mindset is not an easy task, but it is worth it as you go through life going through challenges working with new people and constantly gaining more knowledge about the world around you and more about yourself. Great presentation.

3. Sydney Elsen - Your book presentation was very interesting and similar to a few others of the students gaining the ownership of how they learned best and what they would like to explore. It is very similar to my book that is very centered around how each student individually learns uniquely and helping them discover their passions through learning although my book was more all day every day having a student choose their own path, and this is more structured, but still supporting creativity and growth with the teacher as a guidance role model in both of these scenarios.

4. Haylee Anguiano - It is so important as a teacher to understand and learn more about your student as a whole and not just them as a learner so you can see their passions and how special they are to help them grow and learn in your classroom so you can provide a helping hand to support them through their strengths. Being a teacher as you said, help students build their confidence and encouraging them is a great way to do this to make them feel like they have a value in this classroom of a safe environment in this positive relationship with a teacher and a student is very important to help them succeed. This trust and kindness from the teacher makes students feel her and respected and help them become problem, solvers by working with these students to learn about them and not just teaching your curriculum. This is called teaching with a purpose and it changes lives and helps people grow to be their best
