Main idea: A food chain is a link between plants and animals but it can be broken 
1. A food chain can be broken if the producer dies in the chain. Leaving every animal to die.

3. When people started to come to Chicago a lot of animals died because. The animals habitats started to go away because the houses destroyed it. 
Working at the hospital 
main idea: Their are many jobs at a hospital 
1. one of the jobs at a hospital is the computer person. This person uses the computer as its job.By putting information into the computer so the doctors can use it as information. 
2. Another job would be the cooks they cook food for the patience. Sometime the patience have to have certain types of food that the cooks cook.
3. One of the most important one in my opion are the cleaners of the hospital they make sure everything is clean. If they didn't clean a lot of the people in their would get very sick and die.

main idea: Penguins do not fly and they are and it is a bird 
1. A penguin is a bird but it dose not fly just because something is a bird. Then looks like one docent meant it fly's like a natural bird. 
2. The penguin is a ocean bird meaning it does not live in land. Even though it can come on land it is still considered a ocean bird. 
3. penguins grow all over unlike other birds that is one of the reasons why the penguin is a unique bird. You will probably not see a penguin in the sky because like I said they dont fly. Certain o them live in colder places while others live in very hot places.

Main/Central Idea: If you get rid of a certain type of producer (plant) or just start taking up so much room it might effect the entire food chain. 
Supporting Details:
1. It says in the text that When herbivores lose their food, they die out. Then the carnivores, the animals that eat other animals, lose their food, too. Wolves used to depend on the deer for their food. Without deer, the wolves lost their food. Foxes died out, too.
2. In the text it states (not specifically) that if you remove only one kind of plant you could ruin the entire food chain no matter how big the plant is important to the food chain it still might of ruined it.
3.I the text it says the herbivores in that system depend on the plants. If the plants are removed, the herbivores cannot survive. Herbivores in Chicago include rabbits, squirrels, and many insects. Long ago, they used to include bison and deer. Today you will find some deer in some parts of this area, but you won’t find them in the city. It also says what happened in Chicago? People moved in. They built homes. They built streets. They took away land from nature. Look at this timeline and you’ll see how more and more people moved here. We don’t have the numbers for the bison or deer. But we know that today there are no bison in Chicago, you will only find them at the zoo.
