Apple's famous 1984 ad, directed by Ridley Scott, introduced the Macintosh computer during the Super Bowl. The ad shows a future where everyone is controlled by a Big Brother-like figure, inspired by George Orwell's book "1984." A woman breaks this control by throwing a hammer at a screen, symbolizing Apple's fight against IBM's dominance in the computer world. The message, "You'll see why 1984 won't be like '1984'," highlighted Apple's goal to empower people with their technology. This ad is still widely known for its creativity style and lasting impact on advertising and tech marketing.
