The benefit of bringing awareness of mental health is increased to those who are exposed to the conversation of said topic - instead of following the illusion that depression is not experienced commonly in people is to induce the problem of further action that Robin unfortunately experienced; suicide.

The documentary was a real-life story that used videos, voice memos, interviews, and photos from Williams' lifetime that led to he fatality that was discussed worldwide. A contrast discussed from on stage and the darkness that followed behind the scenes.

I have personally gained a higher respect to a man who struggled with demons that most of us struggle or know of one who has. The openness and transparency that this film as offered gives rise to a change in society that is encouraged; one where it is accepted to talk about mental health issues and the fatal road to suicide. I believe that this film was created in pure intentions to accomplish this goal of bettering us as a global community.
