Activities at school-  I was at the presentation about "How to do a solar watch".

2nd activity- Two greek schools spoke on skype about their latitudes and the movement of sun in March equinoces.

3rd activity- I went to the outside of the school to build a sundial.

I enjoyed learning this.

On the second day (22nd March) by night I went to see the full moon and calculate the distance from the earth to the moon.It was very cold but I liked it.

On the third day (23rd March), I went to Primary School of Palekastro and I had a nice experience in a Planetarium built in the school. 

I made lot of friends among the students of the other countries.

we had introductiory statements about astronomy, geography and build a solar watch. To build the watch I learned more things avout the latitude and march equinox.

Ond the second day we went to the beach call Vai .There I talked , played games and sang with other students.It was very funny.At the hotel we played football.

that same day, at night, went to observe distance from the earth to moon.

At Palekastro prymary school we also a visited the planetarium.

We also visited the Minoan Plece and the Toplou Monastery.

On that day we saw a presentation where we talk about the astrolabe among other instruments.

We made a sundial at the outside of Primary school of Palekastro to tell time through the sun shadow.

what i liked:was the chance pf meeting lots of the new people teachers and students. Even having some difficulties how to speak English very well. I could take lots of pictures and keep lots memories I´ll never forget.

Whatching the full moon and calculate the distance bwetten the earth and moon.

It was on 22end March by night. I loved this! 

I used the Tales Theorem with the students the other countrys and with discovered that we are away from the moon 370.300km.

On 23rd March I had a experience with a planetary built at primary school of Palekastro.

I like because discovered constellations that no longer remenber the name and also I loved the vidios showed that it showed the names of each planet et in Greek.

  Meanwhile, we had lots of activities such as: presentations, video calls with other schools in Greece and we helped the construction of a solar watch. 

  The next day we went to see the night sky calculate the distance from Earth to the Moon. Ilike because I thought it was a vry interesting activity because I could find the polestar.

  On the last day we were in a planetarium and saw the constellations, planets and galaxies. 

  I liked a lot because I had the sensation, the ilusion of beeing in the Space, near the stars. 

  I liked a lot of speaking with students of the other countries, maily from Reunion Island-France.

  I made lots of friendship. 

We also made a solar watch with the same mathematician teacher who was with us making the presentation.

Tuesday, we had a "more cultural" day. We went in a trip to one of the Minoan Palaces which was located next to a beach on the east side of the island.

Wednesday night we went to watch the sky and the full moon to measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon, calculating it by Thales theorem.

For me one of the most insteresting thing was the social grown I had, being with all day with our colleagues and teachers from other countries working and communicating together.

On the first day, we saw a presentation in the Palekastro of astronomy. We learned how to make a solar watch and we skype talked with 2 greek schools of different countries about the equinox.

We went to two differentes beaches of Crete and I loved it !

We observed the night sky and we calculated the distance between Earth and the Moon.

We visited the Minoan palace and the toplou monastery. We also visited the planetary. What i like the most was to comunicating with other students, making friends and learning new things about astronomy. I will never forget this week, I loved it !
