Inside Vogue, Alexandra Shulman

I am a huge fan of British Vogue and this January the Wise Men brought me the book the editor-in-chief wrote after celebrating the Centenary year of the magazine.
This book is the personal diary of the editor and is useful to understand what happens behind the issues published each month and what feels someone assuming that responsibility. Moreover, Shulman both explains how stressful are fashion weeks around the world and how is her daily life, also outside British Vogue.
Last month she announced that this summer she will leave the publication after 25 years in its front.
I recommend this book to someone interested in this inspiration job and in fashion.

We should all be feminists, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

"We should all be feminists" is the title of the essay this Nigerian author adapted of her given speech at TEDx Talk on 2012. This essay has really inspired me. In it, she argues how feminism is necessary in order to bring equality and progress to our world. This author and activist is known around the world up to the fact that Beyoncé included part of her discourse in a 2013 song titled "Flawless". I encourage this reading as I find, as Chimamanda, that feminism is still necessary.
In addition, I also recommend the TEDx Talk in which this essay is based: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg3umXU_qWc
