My dad owns his own business- he believes that the American dream is an idea that suggests that anyone in the United States can succeed through hard work and has the potential to lead a happy, successful life. The United States allows many people to have freedom, equitable rights and the ability to practice any religion which enables them once again thru hard work and perseverance the ability to be able to “live the dream.”
