-In order to create a culturally responsive/relevant classroom for your students you must first build your knowledge of your students. It is not possible to have a culturally relevant classroom without knowing your students. You get to know your students by building relationships.

-As educators we are constantly learning about our students and who they are so must be continuously reflecting upon our classroom environment to ensure it reflects them and who they are.
