As they might seem the same, one is a little different from each other. From Texas v. Johnson, it is saying that you should not arrest people for burning a flag because it was for a political protest. They also point out that you shouldn’t compare two things that shouldn’t be compared. As for the other text, it explains that people may have different feelings/viewpoints on the topic, and for their views, it would be ironic to punish them for burning the flag.

The quote from "American Flag Stands for Tolerance" supports it's tone because it explains that instead of having to burn the flag to express your differences/beliefs, you should do them in a way that doesn't have to do with the flag. The quote from the Texas v. Johnson supports it's tone because it proves that even if you were to burn the American Flag, you will not be punished, however, if yoh have a flag, it isn't worth burning.

Texas v. Johnson uses cause and effect to explain that their community will keep growing, since the incident of the flag burning occured. "The Flag Stands for Tolerance" uses more powerful words to show that the flag is sacred, and people shouldn't burn something sacred to the US. The picture for Texas v. Johnson shows that burning the American flag will symbolize their community getting stronger. The picture for “The Flag Stands for Tolerance” shows that the flag is sacred, but there are other ways to show the world how you feel (fits for tone 2 as well).
