Relative Dating is used to determine the fossil by estimation using certain factors such as the Law of Superposition. Absolute Dating is used to give an exact age of a fossil with pinpoint accuracy.<br>2. <strong><em>If you say that you are younger than your brother but older than your sister, would that be your absolute age or relative age? Why?<br></em></strong>This would be an example of Relative age, as this uses the comparison between being younger and older siblings which doesn't help in giving an absolute age. But this can give us an understanding of what your age <em>could</em> be.<br>3. <strong><em>Isotopes decay at a constant rate, why do you think scientists use this to get a more accurate and precise age of rocks?<br></em></strong>This method can be used to give a more accurate age of rocks because scientists can trace back to the amount of isotopes within the animal when it died. Because it decays at a constant rate, they could determine the amount of isotopes that had been lost through the years, giving them the an accurate age of the animal and what time period it derived from.</div>]]></description>

There is a difference between relative and absolute dating of rocks. Relative dating is when you estimate the age of a rock and Absolute dating is the exact age.
2. If you say that you are younger than your brother but older than your sister, would that be your absolute age or relative age? Why?
It would be my relative age because it doesn't state my exact age, it just states that I'm younger than my brother and older than my sister. It needs to state my actual age.
 3. Isotopes decay at a constant rate, why do you think scientists use this to get a more accurate and precise age of rocks?
Since the isotopes decay at a constant rate, it helps scientists become more exact with the rock/organisms' accurate  age.
