"When teachers create curiosity in their classrooms kids start to wonder..when kids start to wonder, they want to learn."
This quote describes me as a learner. Sometimes I don't think about things until someone else helps me to be more curious about a subject. Once I am curious then I start to form all the wonder questions that help me to explore beyond the initial answer. It helps me go deeper with my questions and my learning stays with me longer

There is no cure for curiosity”.

I love this sentence because it summarizes one of my ideas about education: if I get bored in class, my students are getting bored too, so I always try to propose projects and activities that stimulate them when researching and creating questions. If the topic is related to your personal interest, boredom will not appear and you will want to learn and long-term knowledge: that is our challenge as educators.

It is easy for them to label themselves as stupid, and to give up on something that they feel is difficult, in order to avoid embarrassment. Being a part of a collaborative group allows all students to offer something that they feel reflects them positively. In turn, they feel successful and start to lose a little bit of their hesitation to make mistakes for the sake of learning. I believe everyone has something to offer and in groups we need to give everyone the chance to offer their input and ideas. This would lead to a higher level of curiosity, and these students would view learning as fun, and not a defining element of who they are.
-Heidi Jensen
