Using the story Half A Moon , I created a short story from Brooks point view/. In this story, I explain the events that happened in the story from Brooks point of view and some things that you didn't see. This connects to the story because it is the same story but just from a different person and what happened to them throughout the story. I am most proud about the scene in the woods because it lets the reader see something that they didn't see in the original.

This is a nonfiction piece where I compare topics from the vignette "My Name" and the article "The Power of Names." I discuss how words/names can have hidden meanings and how simple names are viewed more positively. I used text evidence from both the vignette and the article to support my ideas. From this is learned that each persons name has a meaning even if you don't know it.
