I hope that biology will become my new favorite subject this year. I had fun with taking regular biology last year, but by the end of the year I was starting to get bored and I hope to find it more interesting this year.

A fear that I have is going into a slump again. Right now, I am very excited to take AP Biology since although I am a humanities/English major, my favorite school subject (believe it or not) is Biology. Due to my crazy soccer coach passionately teaching Biology in unimaginable ways, I developed a strong interest in Biology and love the logical sequence in Biology. With that excitement comes fear though, which is why I chose the image above because I believe it can be interpreted as both excitement and fear. 

My hope is to learn AP Biology with as much understanding as possible. I hope to do a lot of fun labs and be able to remember all of the concepts I learned 3 years ago.

My fear is that I do have not a lot of basic knowledge of biology.  I took general biology 3 years ago. However, I will do my best for my future.

My fear is that I didn't learn regular biology and I don't have enough basic knowledge in it. Nevertheless, I will try to catch up and do my best.

This picture is representing my feeling that I’m so excited to take this class. I love to study biology which makes me work hard. 

My hope for this AB biology class is a step closer to my dream! I know this class is not an easy class, but as I have chance to study biology with Mr. Ahn, who I respect, I really want to push my self to learn biology more efficient way and enjoy this course.
