I hope  to continue to improve the relationships I create with my tutoring students.  Sometimes this is difficult because of the short time I get to spend with them, but I continue to try - it is always rewarding.

This summer I read Atomic Habits by James Clear. It is based on the Four Laws of Behavior Change. It taught me a simple set of rules for creating good habits and breaking bad ones. I highly recommend this book! 

This summer self-care was very important to me. I recharged my battery, and I am ready for a great school year!

I am going to try to identify those students that really need pushing and begin checking in with them daily/more frequently right from the start. 

I started establishing a consistent yoga practice this summer. I found that it really helped in so many ways. I believe it will help me stay more focused on positive possibilities for our students this year.
