I've gotten better at giving myself deadlines and meeting them but it's still difficult to do when I set work for myself and a someone tells me to do the exact thing I'm doing, it makes me not want to do it.

  ♥Obligers need external accountability even for activities that they want to do. In this case I set myself to do what I have to by a certain time so I can reward myself with something fun like gaming with friends or doing artwork, I don't need a person telling me to do things.

I used to be much worse at not asking for help when I need it, and when I didn't ask for help it would lead me to overworking myself and eventually a pretty severe mental burnout.
