         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Studying the local customs and traditions of partners, so that students may learn and understand their cultural and historical characteristics.</div><div>- Noticing the differences between partners, developing tolerance and cooperation.</div><div>- Helping students to study the way in which various buildings, monuments and art works represent different historical periods. Students will learn to understand the cultural heritage of their own cities and share it with their partners.</div><div>- Promoting team work.</div><div>- Developing multiple intelligences.</div><div>- Improving learning results.</div><div>- Increasing the students’ motivation, interest and efforts.</div><div>- Using ICT as a strategy to find information, solve problems, change information, as an instrument for communication for students and also for teachers, and offering students a various range of techniques which promote critical thinking.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Breaking the ice</strong></div><div>To know each other, students will organize a series of activities in which they will present themselves, their teams, schools and cities. The activity will be realized in the eTwinning virtual space, using the aplication Voki.</div><div><strong>Forming the working groups</strong></div><div>Students will be divided into groups. The groups will explore museums and theatres, various types of buildings and monuments from urban areas, statues and sculptures, photographs, etc.</div><div>Group 1 will gather information about museums and theatres.</div><div>Group 3 will study about religious buildings and monuments.</div><div>Group 3 will study about historical buildings, monuments and sculptures.</div><div>Group 4 will search information about hotels and entertainment areas.</div><div>The results will be published on TwinSpace.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Questions about the tourist attractions asked by every partner will be posted on TwinSpace.</div><div>An exhibition displaying the documents made and the digital materials created will be organized in schools.</div><div>The electronic brochure “Tour of My City” will be realized. With the help of the Internet, students will gather practical details necessary to organize a historic tour through their own cities. They will search for hotels and means of transport, and they will plan various activities that will take place on the tour. In this way students will become familiar with the main aspects of the tourism industry.</div>]]></description>
