I spotted him before he spotted me. His blonde hair and blue eyes shined bright in the darkness of the night. His Mariner’s jersey was bright white, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. I was like a moth to a flame. The haunted house had a line out front, mainly teenagers. The nerves started bubbling over and the voice in my head yapped furiously. My mom doesn’t know I’m here, I’m a liar, my dad will be so disappointed, I’m actually afraid of haunted houses, will Dakota even glad I’m here? I knew that lying was wrong, but right now being the perfect older sister, perfect daughter, perfect truthful human… was not my priority. “Aly, I am so glad you came!” Dakota said as he approached us. This made my nerves twist in a good way. We lined up and entered the haunted house. Ryan first, then Dakota, then me and then Maddie bringing up the back. My eyes were attempting to adjust to the lack of light and my ears were ringing with the screams of people who went before us. A tiny voice spoke to us, “Where is my mommy? Have you seen my mommy?” She asked through little sobs. We kept walking, she was at the end of a hall, sitting in a little chair, with her back to us. In a split second, she turned around and jumped at us. “Help me find my mommy!!!” She wailed. Her face was mangled, covered in blood and gore, the stands of her greasy hair stuck to her mutated grin. I opened my mouth to scream but nothing came out. As if on instinct, Dakota reached for my hand. My grip could have killed a small animal, but he didn’t seem to mind.

“AAA!” I screamed as I stepped on the potato cutter. “Ouch,” I said as I fell to the ground. Turning my head down as I glanced at my foot, blood was gushing out I was so scared. Am I going to die I thought as I screamed so loud, while the blood dripping from my foot making a puddle on the kitchen floor. When we got in, we took some seats and heard the music. It was great, but the funny part is called sigma. We laughed because of the brain rot “sigma” and continued listening. I thought to myself it was way better than some Taylor swift's concerts. When all of the music that was singed in the group of the “sigma” they bring out the staffs for whatever reason (because I forgot) they talk about a staff that had passed away last year. And started playing some sad Musics, some people were tearing up and many just listened like us three. Afterwards they bring out some crazy music that I cannot explain because how crazy it was, it felt like music blasted over my ears and it was just about blow out my ears. Many people did move their glow sticks they had bought from the convention, many people and us three did said the number one word “WOOOOO!” When it was about to end many people left/walked out the whole crazy place and some stayed in. When there was no music to show out, they told us what sound they should play. Many people were hyped, and I really don’t care. I didn't felt anything from the song people had chosed.

At the cruise after we were done eating, we went to a very exciting and memorable place, the very top of the cruise. It was the best and most perfect place I have been to. The wind was so calming, the sun shining as bright as it could possibly be, it’s the best place if you could ever have a picnic here. As I looked at the sky, I saw no clouds like literality nothing, it was clear as a gem, and so many people playing in the water, there was even a small ice cream shop (it was really expensive though, so we didn’t buy it plus it wasn't that big), it was perfect. “Why are you guys yelling!” my mom interfered.

“Chris won’t Leave my stupid room!” I yelled back, I was not afraid to fight back at my mom.

“You always tell him to leave your room! Every day I hear you say, ‘leave leave leave!’ Why don’t you be a good sister and tell him to stay in your room and play with him!” my mom yelled again.

I sighed a loud sigh that my brother who was on my bed flinched. I was so mad, all the anger in me had built up and I was ready to scream so loud at the top of my lungs. Oh my god, I thought “He’s always in my room, I hate it! It’s my room for a reason and he’s always in it! Using my bathroom, stealing my stuff, staying in my room even when I’m not at home! When I wasn’t home once he messed with my flute! He could’ve broken it, and I would’ve had to pay the school around $200!” I fought back.

I looked around as Grace and Crystal were just staring at me like I ate a full course meal by myself, and meanwhile Chris was... on my bed ruining how I made my bed. I let out a loud groan and took a plushy I found on the floor and threw it at him. “Oh, so you’re fighting now?!” my mom replied.

I was surprised she managed to see me throw something at him when I was in my room, and she was in the living room, sitting down on the couch. “Are you trying to be stupid?” my mom questioned.

“Maybe you’re the stupid one.” I said loud enough for her to hear.

Yikes I’m going to be in BIG trouble when my dad comes home, of course she’s going to tell my dad. She tells my dad EVERYTHING. I thought “Excuse me?” my mom said, “Do you want me to tell your father?” She threatened.

I took a deep breath and said, “Do it for all I care!” I turned to Chris, “Get out!” I shouted as I pointed to the door.

Chris sneakily ran away as I slammed the door behind him. I walked back over to where Grace and Crystal were sitting and sat down on the floor next to Grace. “You good?” asked Grace.

“Yea, why wouldn’t I be?” I responded.

Grace nodded her head and then we continued to chat, forgetting that the fight I just had with my mom ever happened. but I did feel bad that I just fought back, I kind of wish I never did. My brother was probably watching TV lonely, I felt horrible. Maybe I shouldn’t have done it...

“Dad, how much time is left till we get lucky?” I asked, “3 months.” my dad replied “oh.” that sounded like a very long time. For the next two weeks I went to school and told my friends about the puppies and that I would adopt Lucky. It felt like years till I would get her. The rest of the days were normal go to school, everyone asks about the puppies, tell them I get lucky in 3 months, go home eat, one day off the 3 months. On Friday afternoon I went to my mom's house and saw my younger brothers Elias and Grayson and my sister Rosie who was only 3, Elias was 5 and Grayson was 4. I was the oldest at 10. We went to the park and played for an hour then we swam. When we went home, me and Grayson played Pokémon while Rosie played with dolls and Elias watched tv. My dad picked me up looking excited. It was not any special occasion, so this made me curious.

The Haunted house was Amazing. I probably should have described it first but whatever. Coming inside you would turn right to a long hallway then left to another one equally long then there was a nook you could hide in at the end. So first, we had Gavin invite Frisk in so I could wait at the end of the second hallway and jump out doing the same thing I did with Gavin which gave Frisk a good scare “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH oh it's you Theo, I was NOT scared.” “Yes, you were!” “I was not!” “Prove it” “Hmphh… can I be a part of this?” “Hmmmm.” After much pestering I thought it might be a good idea to let him be the one to invite people in and me and Gavin switched turns on scaring. Until the house completely was demolished. The reason for this is because one of the other house makers wanted to copy us, so we had a competition for whose was better, ( there’s was a pile of mats with a roof which was slightly dark but nowhere as good as ours) and the other team came in all at once and because of that Gavin hid behind the door as I hid at the end of the hallway which worked so well they got so scared they jumped strait at the wall “ Bwa ha ha” I cackled as they ran away screaming “ AHHHHH”. This was extra funny for me because I kept thinking about how they had the most mats, and their house could have been so much better. I thought to steal some of their mats but that’s not a good way to make something better. Obviously, that broke the whole house which was certainly not good but scared them well (and gave me a good laugh).

I was rushed to the ER and the nurse gave me this yucky medicine then she gave me some x-rays after I was done to look for broken bones, but they said it will help the elbow pain.

I can’t believe we’re here! Guys were here! Were at Super Nintendo World!!!! After weeks of waiting to go to Super Nintendo World. We were finally here. The glorious giant green Mario pipe was coming into view. We headed to the entrance of Super Nintendo Land. As we walked through the giant Mario pipe, we heard the iconic bloop bloop bloop of the sound the pipe makes. I can’t believe we heard the blooping of the pipe! I screamed in my head. The sun shined as we entered the closed in Super Nintendo World. I remembered the long walk from the hotel to the Universal Studios area, then the race to the 3 long escalators down into the Super Nintendo world. After all the pain and despair of walking we were finally here. At Super Nintendo World. It was amazing! There were the iconic Mario blocks, like the grass blocks, and brick blocks and best of all! The mystery block! And we saw some of the Mario characters! Like the Goombas, and Piranha plants. Even some Thwops and coins! Even Yoshi! When we finished admiring the stunning area. I heard my dad say, “Come on, we should go get in line to ride the Mario Kart: Bowsers: Challenge.” Before there was a huge line. It was so fun! The cart thing we were riding in was taking all these abrupt turns and twists. But we got to shoot enemies with shells and get coins! And it was me, my sister, my mom, and my dad. And I technically won because I got the most coins. Even though I had no idea what I was doing for like 3 minutes. But that doesn’t matter. When we walked off the ride, we walked out into the hot, boiling sun. Even though it was really hot, and I was all sweaty. I was having a blast! This place is amazing! I thought to myself. I never want to leave! We went and sat down on some nearby mushroom benches to take a break. But then out of the corner of my eye, I realized. Mario and Luigi, we’re strolling right by! To take pictures and pose with people! But there was a huge crowd so we couldn't meet them! We were disappointed about that. Then I remembered, we were supposed to be doing Bowser jr’s. Challenge! I was trying to think about what the plan was, and if we were going to even do the challenges. We HAVE to do the challenges! Someone said whenever you go to Super Nintendo World you should do the challenges. I thought to myself. So, I decided to ask my dad what we were going to do. Are we going to do the Bowser jr challenges dad? I asked him.

When we were thinking about what we were going to do, my phone was ringing, my friend was calling me, “hi, do you want to go to the park that near your house to play?” my friend said, “um...my mom doesn't let us go to outside to play.” I said, “but I already told all the friends to come, just tell your mom that I tell you to come to the park to play.” my friend said, “ok, I will talk to my mom. Remember to wait for me, I will be coming soon!” I said, I was thinking “I want to going outside to play, but my mom said we can’t not going to, what could we do?” and then I decided to not talk to my mom I was going to the park, because if I talk to her about that, of course, she will say no about it, so, what will I do was, we can still go to the park to play, we grab all the snack away, and grab water and some small snack, and then we are going to the park!!!!! “But what if mom is coming back, and we didn’t know about that?” my sister said, “you don’t need to care about what will happen next, because if mom is coming back, she will be calling us on the phone, and so we can quickly to run back!” I spoke. We were careful closing the door, and locking the inside door, because we just had the inside door’s key, we were careful to walk down the street because we were nervous about our aunt would see us. (because my aunt lives close to us). When we went there, I saw my friend was in there to wait for me, and my sister friend was also there, the sun was shine and the wing was have some flower taste on it, we went there and have a lot and lot of fun in there, we were playing game, slide, swing and a lot, “wait, I was think that my mom will be coming back, because always in the time, we was having fun, and then always happened some bad thing.” I thought to myself. after a few minutes, my mom was calling us, “are you at home?” said my mom, “yes! Are you coming back yet?” I spoke, "yes, I will be at home in about 10 minutes!” my mom said, “ok, we went at home.” I said, and we ended the call. After ending the call, I was thinking that my mom had 10 minutes to come back, and we came back to our house just need 2 minutes, so, we can play 8 minutes, and that will be perfect time to go back.

Mom asked if she could not play the game and paid them to get a duckling. The person said no. But my mom kept trying. Finally, the person said yes, and let me pick. I stuck out my finger inside the little white cage. The first one to peck my finger gets to go home with me! Suddenly a yellow duck with a dash of brown on its eye came towards me and pecked my finger more than once. I quickly yelled “I want this one! The one that is pecking my finger!” The person picked it up and put it in a plastic bowl and then covered it with yellow mesh around the plastic container. The person gave the yellow duckling to me. When I looked at it, I named it Little Six. We then went to Mc Donald’s. After we went to McDonald’s, we called a taxi and went back to my aunt’s apartment. “Creak,” I opened the door to the apartment and went to the brown cardboard box. I hope that Little Gray is okay. I looked inside the box and took out Little gray and placed him inside a little green tub. They became friends at first sight. They then started quacking, as if they were talking. “Quack, quack, quack!” Little Grays is so adorable. I cleaned the cardboard box and placed new bedding and even a small plastic container with water in it for them to swim. Then I picked up the two ducklings and placed them inside the box. Little Gray started quacking as if explaining everything to Little six. I think Little Six now likes to follow little Gray. As Little Gray was explaining, I put some lettuce and fruit inside some paper cups and placed them inside. As soon as I placed the food inside the box Little Gray dashed forward and Little Six followed him. They both ate happily, drank, and swam. They looked so happy. A week later, I placed a green tub and filled it up with water. Then I grabbed the two ducklings and placed them in a green small tub. I then put the ducklings in water, “Splash, splash, splash!” They both swam and swam. Then they started quacking very loudly, I guess they're done swimming for the day. I got up from my stool and picked up the two noisy ducks. I opened the cage and placed them inside. We had brought a cage since the boxes started to attract cockroaches and long red insects. I then put some food inside the cages and paper towels to help dry them off. I sat on a small stool and watched them happily eat.

‘’That walk was chill’’ I walked to my best friend cam’s room seeing him with the entire friend group ‘’what?’’. Their names are Esteban, Cam, Sean, Felix, Benjamin and me, as I looked stunned as cam welcomed me saying what they were doing ‘’dang’’ as I said looking astonished ‘’SACRIFICE SEAN’S WATER BOTTLE’’ Felix said then we all started chanting sacrifice, they didn’t really understand what sacrificing meant but either did I it wasn’t real just really funny, they yanked Sean’s bottle out of his hand as me and cam watched from the top bunk observing the brown wood on the bunk beds and seeing Sean’s head ‘’what are they doing’’ I said laughingly ‘’not sure’’ he replied. I see Sean’s raging eyes as he desperately trying to get water bottle, he tried running after them as they played hot potato with it, he sighed still trying to sleek navy blue bottle. I need to go to bed, I thought, standing in front of the door when I opened it with our teacher standing in front of me looking pissed. I walked out laughing as I stormed off hearing a calm voice saying ‘’can you guys keep it down and go to sleep ‘’wow’’ I said ‘’he really doesn’t want to lose his job''.

I sighed. I knew that I was not going to make it :(. I took my backpack and put it on, I was anxious, and I didn’t know what to do now. I needed plan B. While walking down the stairs for my next class, my stomach started to hurt like CRAZY! I was in pain! But I was still anxious and still thinking what I could do to finish my homework. I really wanted to finish my homework because if I tell my parents if they could help me, I’ll just get yelled at and I don’t want that. I don’t want to hear them yapping all the time too. So, I continued to think what I could do. My stomach started to hurt again, I put my hands around my stomach to try to stop the pain, but it didn’t. Then I heard “WHO TOLD U GUYS YOU COULD GO” I was petrified to see my own mother so angry even her not being that angry is horrifying. she told us “GO HOME RIGHT NOW” and we said “okay” while our voices shivered. when we got home I started crying as I thought I would never be able to play with my cousins ever again then as soon as we got home my mother asked again “WHO SAID YOU GUYS COULD GO” but this time she was on the phone with my dad, and my siblings started to put the blame on me, my mom was pensive trying to figure out the truth so then we all told our sides of the story and after a few minutes she grab the belt and hit us couple times.

Most of the rides looked fun but most of them were for older kids and after two hours in the car we finally got there. We got there around one o’clock. The place was big it was also raining then when I saw it the first ride, I wanted to go on was the wooden roller coaster, so we went on it I went with my dad and my to sister I was sitting next to my dad and my two sisters were sitting next to each other than after everyone got on the ride the ride start I was a little scared. The ride started with a turn and after it started going up and after reaching the top it went down fast, and I got really scared. After that, it just started going up and down and it got lower and lower after a little while the ride finally ended.

Now I realize what is happening, I think of that one story of sopheary getting hit on by this boy way younger than her. I think ‘This boy is really doing this right now, by a kid and dog that is rushing to go home, and my mom told me to protect Sopheary’. My mind is now activated, and I can tell what the boy was thinking. As my mind goes back to the present, I walk up to my sister and look up at the boy he doesn’t even glance at me or the dog. He licks his lips and sways his long hair, then opens his mouth and starts talking. Before actual words come out, he moves his hand as if he was speaking, however before I can register my mind, he starts with complimenting sopheary about stuff that can be said about anyone. Sopheary looks traumatized or has PTSD. With a single look at her I knew I needed to jump into action. I also think, he doesn’t even look good. “Where do you live, what do you like, what’s your name, mines (something)” the boy asks. For some reason my sister answers and while looking in shock, answers more and more. I realize that this boy was in high school, but I was in elementary. I think what am I really going to do to stop this boy from talking to my sister longer. The longer I stand there, the longer my unknown rage boils into steam, that almost form into words to cuss this boy out and stop him. Like I was thinking before, am I going to do anything to stop him. I look at the dog as she sits down and waits with her tail wagging. Sopheary’s brain comes back to this realm, and she also realizes what is happening. So, she looks at the guy, at this point I expect the guy to even take a look at me or the dog. I see the dog and she looks like she wants to go home. He just stands there with his eyes glued to sopheary like my eyes get glued to a screen all day. He stays there yappin and talking about random stuff. I look at him thinkin, he ain’t gonna get what he wants.

We are in the car I ask my :MOM can we get food Mom : says fine yes we can me: YESSSSSSS I call my Dad and ask what he wanted and then we ordered we took the food Home I could smell the food from a mile away I could not hold myself Back and I grab a frie and ate it was delicious but this time I could myself tell we got Home then we got home. and I Devoured my fries and ate my taco then I play my game but then did not know what would happen in about 30 minutes my dog name Buba was acting funny and then he went under the dinner table and just stared at me for a about 10 minutes then he walked out from under the table and looked at the wall and then he passed out and then he started Bleeding out all through his ears and his mouth and on top of that he started vibrating ME I am 5 at the time I don't Know what to do so me doing what a five year old dose I called the police and then the police arrive to my house what I TOLD them is that my DOG IS BLEEDING OUT SEND HELP I'm not going to say the address for reasons but that was the First time that I experienced a death.

Soon, we pulled up in the parking lot. I was excited, due to the fact This was probably the first time I have ever gone to the fair. Maybe the second, I can’t remember. I stared at the large (And tall) fair with shock. The only thoughts occupying my mind were amazed by the giant rides and questions on how it was made. My sister walked in, and we had to get checked out by security to make sure we were not carrying dangerous objects, which make sense. As we walked in, it was warm from the sun but had a nice breeze. There were rollercoasters, a Ferris wheel, and also a food court.

When we got home, my brother instantly ran to the bathroom because he had to take a big dump. Also, during the ride home I asked him what was in the box (again) and this time he said it was a monitor for his pc. I did not believe that because the box was too small for being a monitor. Finally, after around 15 minutes my fat brother finally came out the bathroom and I had to go use the bathroom too, so I went in there and it stank like poop, and it was disgusting. Now that we got that out the way, it was finally time to open the box. I wondered if what was in the box for me or for my brother. There was a rectangle in the box the size of a regular laptop and it was a laptop! Also, my brother said, “This laptop is for you!!” “Really???” I replied. I was shocked because I thought it was just a work laptop for my brother. In the end everyone was happy and excited After that, I made my brother set up the computer by himself and I only helped by putting my names and things on it. He also gave me his old gaming things which was nice. Today’s lesson was you cannot judge a book by its cover.
