MTSS is an example of how the state of California envisions success for all students. California is willing to adjust the curriculum based on a student’s need and also provides aids for students who require extra help. The state is also willing to provide assistance from technology. For example a student who struggles with reading the english language could use an online ereader to help read the text aloud. MTSS also provides adaptations to students who require more of a challenge than the curriculum offers. This shows that California wants to provide the best education for students who may be struggling, on pace, or ahead of their grade’s benchmark assessments.
