It's basically a replacement for a normal wooden pallet, instead of using wood they use the husk of coconuts (which are usually thrown away). Every year, 1.7 billion pallets are used to ship different products to different countries. The thing is 170 million trees are being cut for these pallets which are 1-way use. After these wooden pallets are used, it's usually either burned or landfilled. CocoPallet makes pallets from coconut husks and partners with coconut farmers to make these pallets. 85% of the coconut husk is usually landfilled, flushed, or burned, making giant bio-hazards. So CocoPallet prevents these risks by using the coconut husks and the fibers, and the material between the fibers as a natural binder. CocoPallet uses coconut husks to Coconut-made Pallets that have 0 synthetic resin in them. Income from coconuts has dropped and so CocoPallet buys their coconut husk from coconut farmers. CocoPallets are strong, sustainable, insect-free, fit into each other (saves space), compliant for export, and are more affordable than wooden pallets. When CocoPallets has no use, it can be broken down and turn into a soil-improver.
