I'm pretty sure we can just throw the idea that adults can't have colorful toothbrushes out the window now. British company BRSH Collective has created some wonderfully crafted and colorful toothbrushes for those that want to jazz up their daily routine.

It's no secret that the act of brushing one's teeth is not the most glamorous of things to do but it can still be fun. The market for toothbrushes are pretty stagnant for the most part because they're an essential item and often people don't think too much about it. If you want to look cool while having fresh breath, you want the BRSH Collective's new toothbrushes.

The handles are made of organic bamboo, which helps the green movement by phasing out the typical plastic handles and the bristles are all colored in one way or another. African-themed toothbrush? Yes please.

LED Bulbs was first invented by a scientist called Nick Holonyak. It is considered as a sustainable product due to it being powered by solar power so it doesn't use electricity from Earth. So it started with him coming up with an idea for LED that can produce red light. Nick Holonyak was employed in general electric while inventing red diodes. Then George Craford used two Gallium Phosphide chips with the color red green and blue to make pale yellow light. After many processes of making this product, the energy-efficient LED is bringing affordable prices to lights places without using much energy and electricity from Earth because of solar power.

Their mission is to help reduce plastic waste by offering eco-friendly products that are affordable and easy to use. And because of that, they created OLA bamboo, OLA bamboo is a company that creates eco friendly items with bamboo, such as, Bamboo utensils, Bamboo toothbrush, etc. So Why bamboo? Bamboo is one of the most environmentally friendly crops that exists today. Bamboo is a plant, not a tree. A bamboo plantation has a yield up to 25 times that of a forest. Bamboo does not require pesticides or artificial fertilizers.

Nathaniel Baldwin invented the first modern set of headphones in 1910. Of course the headphones we use today are different from then, but it is hard to say the specific designer of one specific headphone, so I will go with the first designer. In short, headphones are a pair of small speakers used for listening to sound from an electronic device. They are typically worn over the head, with the two round speakers over the ears. Modern headphones are generally made of plastics, silicone, artificial leather, rubber, textiles, vinyl and foam materials.

The product that I chose is Coco Pallet. It's basically a replacement for a normal wooden pallet, instead of using wood they use the husk of coconuts (which are usually thrown away). Every year, 1.7 billion pallets are used to ship different products to different countries. The thing is 170 million trees are being cut for these pallets which are 1-way use. After these wooden pallets are used, it's usually either burned or landfilled. CocoPallet makes pallets from coconut husks and partners with coconut farmers to make these pallets. 85% of the coconut husk is usually landfilled, flushed, or burned, making giant bio-hazards. So CocoPallet prevents these risks by using the coconut husks and the fibers, and the material between the fibers as a natural binder. CocoPallet uses coconut husks to Coconut-made Pallets that have 0 synthetic resin in them. Income from coconuts has dropped and so CocoPallet buys their coconut husk from coconut farmers. CocoPallets are strong, sustainable, insect-free, fit into each other (saves space), compliant for export, and are more affordable than wooden pallets. When CocoPallets has no use, it can be broken down and turn into a soil-improver.

links:
official website
video
article about it

It's known for its ability to provide good aeration and that's very good for plants. Coconut coir has also the ability to soak up 10x its weight in water, so your plants will require much less watering.
