Chicago, Illinois; The Windy City. I was born and raised in the Second City. I was born on the 21st of July, 1951 to my mother, Laura McLaurin, and my father, Robert Fitzgerald Williams. As a child, my father was never around; usually working. My mother, however, was around me, but it was a strenuous task to get her attention even for the simplest of things. My father was a workaholic, who never really interacted with the family, usually leaving for business during weeks, and returning home over weekends. My mother, on the other hand, was a stay at home mother who enjoyed having a good time with friends over spending time with her children; her children being myself, Robin, my half-brother, McLaurin, and my other full brother, Robert-Todd Williams. My brothers had always enjoyed my comedic style of speech, and over my humor, we became closer and closer to each other.

Robin Williams was a famed actor who, as described by many, was a very generous, kind man who was known to be a womanizer. He had three wives throughout his life. The first being Valerie Velardi; their marriage lasting 10 years, and producing one child named Zachary whom with the couple shared a peaceful custody. His second wife, Marsha Garces, was his house-keeper at the time of his previous divorce. This marriage lasted 21 years, until 2010. The couple gave birth to three more children, including modern day actress, Zelda Williams. After Garces and Williams divorced in 2010, Robin Williams married Susan Schneider, whom he would spend the rest of his days with. Sadly, the relationship only lasted for three years, ending at Williams' death in 2014.

On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams was pronounced dead in his Paradise Cay, CA mansion; hung by a belt. Police say it was suicide, but thousands are asking one simple question; why? Robin Williams had been a drug addict most of his middle-age life. Constantly snorting cocaine, and injecting heroin, often due to pressure from other stars such as Cathy Smith, who server 15 months in prison for injection, and killing, actor John Belushi with a lethal dose of heroin and cocaine. Williams had been in that same room only 45 minutes earlier. Robin was also addicted to alcohol, which is another reason doctors say he had crippling depression. Robin's family and wife, Valerie, all had noticed it, and attempted to get him help. With the professional aid from therapists, and rehab, Williams had lost his addiction to both drugs and alcohol within the next few years. However, the depression stayed. On set, Williams was always reported to have a fun and outgoing attitude, but at home; the exact opposite. Williams' depression was reported to have gotten worse all of the way until his death in 2014; a complete and utter shock worldwide.

Robin Williams starred in many films that will forever be enjoyed; however, Dead Poets Society (1989), was a film that made a forever lasting impression on the life and career of Robin Williams. Dead Poets Society is a movie about a group of intelligent boys attending the all-male high-school level, Welton Academy. The boys are some of the most outgoing, intelligent, kind people you could imagine, and this is reassured to the viewers through their actions towards their English teacher, Mr. Keating (Williams). However, there is one thing that sincerely connects these boys to Keating, and that is the Dead Poets Society; created by Mr. Keating when he attended Welton as a student. The boys learn about the secret society through one of Keating's journals and decide to recreate it. Breaking most of Welton's rules, the boys carry out with their plan, and in the end are caught and forced to sign a paper that indicates that Mr. Keating was, in fact, the inspiration for this "outrageous act". In the end, however, when the dean of the school is teaching Keating's English class after he is fired, the boys all stand up on their desks in approval of Mr. Keating as he leaves with his final belongings; ending the emotional film. The cast of the film was said to have been one of the most connected and bonded film casts of all time. Due to Williams' humor and the director, Peter Weir's, desire for the set to bond, the cast was one that changed Williams' life. Williams had proclaimed after the film that they had treated each other like family. He said that one of the reasons for this is the fact that Weir had asked the boys to play sports together in order to form a bond with one another.
