At the end of the quiz, the teacher can see what students answered and what they may need help with. They can also see how long it took the students as well as an overall completion rate. 

While the name "Quizizz" makes it seem like this resource is strictly for quizzes and assessments, you can also create lessons using this website. This resource allows you to create and/or import slides and present them to your students who are able to join using the code that is specific to that set. The slides are then displayed on their own screen as well which helps ensure that all students can see the material. 

When presenting slides, you can also use a "live whiteboard" feature which allows you to write/draw/demonstrate on the slides. Teachers can also enable it so that students can do the same thing. Meanwhile, the teacher can also see what each student is writing/drawing. 

Overall, I rate this resource as a 4/5. It is a great tool that can be used for in person instruction as well as virtually. However, there are some things that Quizizz offers only if you or your school pays for a subscription to it. It also does not allow you to record your lesson. The downfall to this is that if a student misses class, you will not have the recording to publish for them to watch. While there are ways around this (such as sharing your screen on zoom and recording that), it means you have to include an additional step in your preparation. 

Through my job as a substitute, I have worked with students on this website a few times. More specifically, I worked with students in a second grade room who really seemed to enjoy this resources. Their options after finishing a math test were to work on any missing work, read, or play math games on this website. A majority of the students chose this option as it was something fun for them to do and they saw it as something that they could compete with. They were constantly comparing levels and which skills they were ready for.

Meanwhile, I have not personally used this website for Reading or Language Arts, so I can not give any personal feedback about my experience with that subject.

I would give this source a 3/5. While it does offer a lot of individual help to students, it does not give them a lot of help and/or feedback with the problems that they are struggling with. When I was subbing, there were a lot of students who were constantly asking for help and asking me what they did wrong. This resource also aligns with Common Core standards which Indiana does not use. While it is free for teachers to use, parents would have to pay to see their child's progress which may not be affordable for some families.

With all of this having been said, this is not a resource that would be a great idea to assign for an e-learning day when students are not in the building as they can not easily get help from the teacher or even from some of their parents.

Classkick has a variety of features that students can use such as a camera, microphone, pen, eraser, and text box to answer questions. When students are struggling, students can "raise their hand" on the website to let the teacher know that they need assistance or guidance.

While researching more about this resource, I learned that there is a peer helper feature. If this is turned on, it allows other students to help their peers if they have raised their hand.

From my personal experience as a student, Classkick was a great way for us to complete our Do Now's (bellringers). When we came into class, the access code was displayed on the board and we could work on it at our own pace. When we were done, we could turn it in for review before we went over it. It was a great way for the teacher to see what we remembered from the previous class, what stuck, and what didn't stick and she needed to reteach.

If I were to rate this resource on a scale of 1 to 5 (with 1 being the resource is not great and 5 being that the resource is the best), I would give Classkick a 3. It is a great resource to use if your class has to be virtual or if you have to be absent that day as it allows you to see what they are doing when you aren't there. However, you are limited to only 20 assignments with the free version so you must wisely think about what assignments you want to assign. If you chose to purchase Classkick premium, it would cost about $179 a year and you would have access to unlimited assignments, class folders, have the ability to export student grades, and so much more. Personally, I would use Classkick in my classroom but I would use it to create assignments that I could use more than once or use each year.
