During my time in university, some times i may too focus solely on the academic part while ignore to have at least some exercise in my daily life. By joining this program, it made me realize that balancing academic and physical activity is essential to maintain good health and mental well-being. Moreover, this program help me more to broaden my friends circle in this university across each level of study. Even after the end of program, i still make some time to have exercise and do other physical activity with my friends.

In this mentor & mentee program, i get to shared my academic problem with my mentor Dr. Wan Nur Aifa. Throughout her experience, she shared with me the solution that is really useful to solve my problem. Also, during the podcast being carried out, some of other students share some tips that is useful to help boost my studies and understanding. And from the games that be done during the program, it help me to strengthen the relationship with other students and the lecturers. It was a really fun program since i can have free interact with ease especially since i am a little bit introvert.

During my visit to this program, there is various project that i find quite interesting. One of it is about 3R. which is reduce, reuse and recyle. From their presentation, it can help to increase awareness among the students about the 3R. After hear their presentation, it made me realize how carelessly was me on the this 3R. Also, they gave a chance to students to do some diy project on the material that they provide. It was really great to create some project that has not been thought before.

As a civil engineer student, there is various method that need to be learn to use in the industry. The Building Information Modelling is one of the method need to be learned. This BIM exposure is a new information to us as students in IIUM because it is not placed in our syllabus. So, through this briefing program, it help us to increase our knowledge to align with current modernization and serve the public without harming their safety. From my understanding on this BIM, it help engineers to reduce the waste and increase the efficiency of resource. Also this BIM can help us as engineers ensure that the building that has been built is efficient and sustainable for long term.

Even though my current level of studies still level 2 which make me not qualified yet to take industrial training, i still join this program to fill in my free time on that Friday. From this briefing, i get to know an overview and expectation that i can obtain after i join industrial training. Also, the lecturer suggest us to try leave a good impression during the industrial training so that it can serve as a connection for us to enter the engineering industry after graduating from IIUM. Other than that, since the industrial training will be our first time in the industry, lecturers has briefed to us the potential challenge that we might faced during our training. With this small help from the lecturers, it can help us to prepare ourselves some strategies to be used in our training.
