On the football pitch, they used math to create the pitch and they created it in the shape of a square and they used a square to make the goalkeeper's area and this is the same on both sides. This is how they made the pitch fair for both teams.

The angle where the slide is positioned at. The slide needs to have a decent angle for it to work. For example if it was to steep you could easily fall off or if it was to flat you would barely be able to move. The angle of the slide can be calculated. If given  measurements, the surface area and volume of the sand pit can be calculated as well. Engineers have the responsibility to build the slide at the perfect angle to keep the children safe, this requires a lot of measurements and calculations on the engineer's part.
In the second photo, the Area of the circle, semi circles and rectangles can be measured and calculated. The perimeter and the area of the entire soccer field can be calculated as well.
