Carengie was the leader of the steel industry from 1873-1901. He had expanded the industry with his business, "Carengie Steel Company" mainly in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The steel industry is still used today!</div>]]></description>

Laissez Faire allowed businessmen to grow their companies to a much larger size. Philanthropist are people who donated large sums of money to charities that needed them. Business growth widened the gap between the rich and poor allowing equality. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Transcontinental Railroad</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>These railroads were made from the Chinese and the Irish. They made the railroads entirely by hands which is manual labor. George Pullman invented sleeping cars which were comfortable cars for the train for people to sleep peacefully which changed the railroad. This led to more people wanting to use railroads. Promontory Point, Utah was the meeting spot in the middle of the railroad. </div>]]></description>

Also, the U.S. is a great fit for Industrial Revolution considering they had spirit of inventions, large sums of natural resources, had high growing population and labor forces, and had Lassize Faire.</div>]]></description>
