Overall my scores were the same or similar (I gave a slightly higher score in 5 areas and lower in 2). I recognised effective use of Socratic questioning within a number of competencies. Viewing the official marking has helped me better understand and clarify in my mind what each competency is considering, particularly when the marker has
expanded on their rationale for the score . I also recognised there were missed opportunities for utilising the ROMs within the supervision. Overall I felt the supervisor was very empowering and effective.

My scores were a little higher than the scores given by the marker. Generally I thought the supervisor hit all the targets fairly well. It seems that if the trainee does something off the marking sheet, the supervisor still needs to bring it up. For example bringing up the categories even if the trainee already has.

ROMS were not used very much in the session. It would be good to have a further understanding of how to bring these up in a meaningful way with supervisees

Overall, my scores did match or were very similar. However, on some I did mark higher as I thought the supervisor kept drift on track more than what was assessed. I did pick up that the supervisor did step in too soon from time to time prior to the supervisee finishing their case overview. But I was able to recognise effective use of Socratic questioning.
Found it very helpful to compare my thinking with that of the assessed

In comparison many of my answers and comments were similar. I picked up that the supervisor was not waiting until the supervisee finished their client overview before asking questions, some of the answers to which were in the information they were going to bring. I found the use of reflective and Socratic questioning helpful and it enabled the supervisee to come to their own conclusions about action plans or way forward. The supervisee appeared well organised and used to the structure which left little opportunity for this to be corrected or directed by the Supervisor.
I noted the supervisor did not really go in to ROMS or consider these in some of the discussions.

Practising is definitely useful! I think this training stage is so valuable in getting past initial anxieties around being filmed/watching it back.
I think the video examples of sessions, especially Annette was very helpful and made me feel the structure has real value, even though initially it felt quite impersonal on paper. I also understand more about what the assessors are looking for
