Unashamed is a book describing how to deal with topics that normally are secret and cause girls to be ashamed. Minassian encourages girls to use the resources God has given each of us to deal with addiction, shame, and and sin. Millions of girls who read this book will no longer feel helpless. I realized that the way Missassian wrote the book as a friend to the reader she built a relationship based on trust. Minassian explains how easy it is to slip through the cracks of overcoming the shame. Minassian gives advice to avoid slipping up and how to get help after slipping up, but she fails to mention how to deal with the shame and guilt that is felt after messing up. There's no explanation of how to stop hurting after relapsing.
