It is also hard to get up and do work when you're at home because there isn't always a teacher there to tell you to do your work.
2. The most difficult part about school is that you really don't have the teachers help. When we weren't in a pandemic the teachers would walk over to us and just help, and now it is virtual so if your Wifi frezzes or lags you really can't understand what is going on. My mom plays a big role and sports do to also. B Right now if we go to workouts in the morning they highly encourage us to be in person. With my mom she wants us to go in person so we save electricity and water, plus food also.

1.i wish people knew that virtual learning is not easy, in a learning matter. what is easy is for kids to log in and just leave their computer on in the corner and then go leave to do something else. this is why its not easy >
2. what makes it so difficult is that most of the times the teachers dont even offer the help they say they will, they just log on tell us what to do and end the zooms, sometimes youll get lucky if they tell HOW to do things. plus i think most kids dont get the help they need because we are hand on learners, switching into virtual all of sudden was a big change that we had to adapt to. ... and then when the teachers are explaining this and doing zooms , they dont let us log off and they keep on rambling about off topic things and then they get distracted too but still wont dismiss us to do our work, all that zoom time wastes my work time and i can never catch up due to the rest of my classes being in the mix of all these problems, the work eventually piles up and some people dont have other time to do school work.
3.i think what plays the biggest role is COVID , the mask mandate just passed and now we got people wearing no masks, which is more risky to catch it , even though the school wants us to still wear masks, you dont know where other people have been and gone, and for them to be coming back on campus is a scary feeling for us. theres been many covid cases at THIS school and for them to keep trying to put kids in danger is wild, people wont tolerate it.

1.although virtural learning sounded better at first from the fact you get to remain at home to do school work on the computer, but really is not the best option at all as doing school from the comfort of your own home can really make it harder to focus and keep up with the work you are handed since there can be a lack of a authority figure to be there to get you back on track as most of the work is done on our own pace which could lead to a tendency of bad habbits such as doing work on last minute due dates when we had more time for ourselves to work on them causing work build up and putting us into a more stressful situation to the point doing so where we see no motivation into continue on with school and begin sleeping in, not logging in , and giving up with our selves.

Virtual learning can make cheating on work more easier and it feels more comfortable being at home but it ruins learning for students and does not feel like learning new things it's more just doing things because you have to.
2. It has been very difficult to keep up with school and home life through out a pandemic because it feels there's problems being thrown at you at all times.
3. The consistent covid cases coming up every day especially after the mask mandate was removed plays a big role on deciding whether to go to school in-person

1. As a student that has done both in person and strictly virtual, there is no way to get students to participate and turn in assignments if the way teachers teach or the way they structure their assignments does not change. Participation is a two way street but teachers are creating an environment in which students can feel comfortable participating in.
2. The most difficult part of school this year has been the work overload. Just because students are at home, it does not mean they are not struggling with the stress of the pandemic and pre-existing mental health issues. There are other reasons as to why students are not doing their work besides being lazy.
3. I personally believe that when I am not being forced to go to school by my parents and at my sisters house as it is less noisy as my own, that i preform better in my school subjects. It does take setting a routine for yourself but if I am constantly having to switch from going to school one day and not the next, it becomes tough. Going to school everyday is not helpful either as those hours at school being spent in boring rooms in which teachers are focusing on virtual students can be draining. School use to be a place where kids can connect with others but now it is just an added possibility of getting covid.

1. I wish people knew how much time virtual learning takes, personally for me it consist of me sitting in front of my computer all day in my room attending the zooms where there's not real communication happening between the students and teachers and then at the end of the day im stuck with all my work so im pretty much spending 24/7 in my room in front of my Chromebook just trying to survive this school year.
2. The most difficult part of this year has been communicating effectively with my teachers I never got to build the relationships that I would have in person and also I feel like im not really learning im just doing the assignments to get them done and not retaining the information passed what is needed to get a good grade, also finding motivation to actually do the work especially if you get behind. That also ties into the mental health impacts this has had I no longer have the same social skills that I did and nobodys really asked about my mental health throughout this entire pandemic which is something I wish the school recognized and worried about more I think they just see these kids with failing grades and faill to recognize that we dont want to fail either and there is reasons for our actions.
3. The biggest role in deciding weather or not I come to school virtually or in person would probably be how others in my house feel about it and if I get the vaccine also the extra curriculars that im if they need me to be in person it would be a decided factor for me. Also how the school would function if opened I know there simply isnt enough space for all of us to go back and properly social distance, for example our cafeteria size, things like this create a sense of fear about going back I wish I could be 100% confident in knowing I'd be safe but im just not.

1.) What I wish people knew about virtual learning is how time consuming it can be and how it just kind of messes up the actual learning experience since cheating has increased and putting effort has reduced. And the fact that there are so many distractions and not exactly being held accountable to an extent since we are home and it can be hard to reach students sometimes.
2.) The most difficult part of this year for me is maintaining contact with teachers especially when I have a question. Time management has been harder than usual and just being stuck in one place due to the pandemic and then having the lack of motivation hit me, I feel like I'm going crazy and it sucks because I'm not as productive as I used to be. So the extra pressure is there for me and sometimes I can't handle that well.
3.) The biggest factor that decides whether I come back to school or not is the risk of doing so and the amount of cases that seem to increase especially with the masks now being removed and my family.

1. I wish people knew how exhausting it is to be a virtual learner. Even though it seems like we get to be in our houses all da, virtual learning is exhausting. You spend your entire day glued to the screen stuck in your room, and then you get even more work assigned to you and it just feels like a never ending cycle of being glued to your laptop.
2.The most difficult part of school this year, is definitely the isolation and lack of structure. Even though school is a place to learn it is also a place of structure and socialization. Without it, I don’t get as much social interaction as I used to as there’s not as much of a need to wake up early and have a set regimen.
3. The biggest influence in deciding whether to not to be virtual is the amount of potential exposure. At school you are in the same location with a large amount of people for 8 potential hours and we don’t know where they have been or how safe they are and in addition to this current in person school is depressing. In in person school you are still glued to your computer just in a different setting, and in addition to this the people you really want to see are not there.
