In my opinion, this poem talks about attachment between a dog and its owner. The owner loves his dog because the dog is always there for him, the dog listens when no one listens to him. But slowly the dog is aging up and the owner felt sad because he was scared of losing his fluffy best friend. if someday the dog is going to heaven, he will miss the dog and forever remember all the memories. But for now, he wants to spend his time happily with his dog.

So Sad 😔

This poem shows reader how important it is to have a dream. Dreams exist to give meaning to one's life. Dreams motivate us to achieve something that will make us feel complete. Without dreams, we will not be able to find meaning in life. That is why the writer describes life without dreams as a barren field, to convey emptiness and a life-less existence.

source : https://commaful.com/play/nora/dreams-by-langston-hughes/

Jesus is fully The Son of God, while also being The Son of Man. This poem serves as a reminder that Jesus really died, and He had real human feelings. The last line is also a reminder to read The Bible, as it contains many parallel stories that invoke curiosity, as everything seems to connect even in historical accounts. The poem itself really stuck to me when I first saw it on TikTok, because all this time I've been thinking Him to be more God than human.

In my point of view, the poem is talking about how destruction is inevitable even with fire and ice being polar opposites. This poem shows that popularity can turn someone into a bad person, tearing up friendships and families. The author describes popularity as something murderous, as it can affect someone without them realizing it, clueless as a child. This poem also shows the devastating truth about popularity, as most of the time it's full of lies. The poem ends with a question dedicated to those who are blinded by the dream of popularity: What happens after sugar turns bitter?

He believes that all the best aspects of darkness and light can be seen in her appearance and her eyes. Even with a tiny change it would ruin this balance, as it could be seen from her dark "raven" hair as it gently brightens her face and compliments her calm and sweet expression. She acknowledges differences in personality, appearance, and experiences but stresses that these distinctions do not divide us. She also shows that emotions, aspirations, and struggles are universal across cultures and nations. The poem really highlights unity, solidarity, and understanding, reminding us that despite our differences, we share a common humanity.

By Rodney Terich Leonard

In my opinion, the poem writer is having a trip down memory lane, where the writer remembers the teacher whistling melodies that brings a variation of feelings. From the next lines, I figured out that this first passage symbolizes that memories can be very detailed, from the cozy weekends until the reality of monday. The memories are mainly brought to life by the melodies and songs being whistled or sung. Throughout some time, music will shape our mind, influencing how we think, act, and do things. Music also ties different people together into a shared emotion, making the ear, that is used for listening melodies, very powerful.

From my perspective,

this poem tells us about a long-lasting love adventure that the speaker has gone through. Even though some may have guessed that their love adventure has ended long time ago (because of their parting in verse 1), the speaker never gave up and still believes that his/her lover is still alive, somewhere in the world, out there.

The Speaker’s dedication in waiting for their encounter again is shown in verse 2, where it is described that as the speaker grew old, he/she still believes that they will meet again someday. This is my interpretation for line 3-4, verse 2, where the poem explained that more people has seen the speaker growing old, but the speaker rejected the fact that he/she’s growing old, because the lover hasn’t met the speaker yet.

At last, the last verse explains about the speaker’s imagination, where he/she imagined the time that they (speaker & lover) will cross paths again,

In a fine morning where the sun shines,

In a place where new couple’s could spend their day together,

In a place, where the Speaker and his/her lover could meet again and be together forever.

Thank you for reading.

Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken is one of those poems that really makes you stop and think about life. It’s about choices—the ones we make, the ones we don’t, and how they shape our future. The speaker in the poem comes across two paths in the woods and has to decide which one to take. In the end, they choose “the one less traveled by,” and that, according to them, “made all the difference.”

What I love about this poem is how relatable it is. We’ve all had moments where we had to make a decision without knowing how it would turn out. Sometimes, we try to convince ourselves that we made the right choice, even if deep down, we wonder what would have happened if we had picked the other option. The poem isn’t just about taking risks or being different—it’s also about the fact that life keeps moving forward, and we can’t go back to see what might have been.

The writer shows how he would love his significant other eternally. He also wanted to be the more loving one between them. He admires them thoroughly and sincerely. But, in the end, he realized that he had to let them go as if they were the disappearing stars. The poem tells that forgetting and letting go will take a long time.

This poem carries a deep sense of sorrow, resignation, and emotional detachment, The writer expresses a feeling of exhaustion from emotional pain, and suggests that death will bring a release from suffering. They will no longer feel pain, sorrow, or concern for the person who may have hurt them. The poem conveys themes of heartbreak and the idea that, in death, all earthly suffering and emotions especially those tied to love and disappointment. The writer may be choosing detachment as a way to avoid future hurt. Choosing not to care, rejection emotional dependency and finding indifference can means to reclaim personal freedom from the constraints of painful attachments.

This poem reminds us that life is short, so we should focus on what really matters. Instead of spending all our time cleaning or doing small tasks, we should enjoy things like nature, friends, and experiences. The poem encourages us to live fully and appreciate the present moment. It also reminds us that time goes by quickly, and eventually, our time will "run out", leaving behind only memories. In the end, it’s more important to create memories than worry about dust or perfection.

This poem is about making choices in life and how they shape who we become. The speaker finds himself at a crossroads and decides to take the less-traveled path, which represents choosing a different or more challenging direction. He later reflects that this choice made a big impact on his life, but there’s also a feeling of wondering what could have happened if he had chosen differently. This reminds me that every decision we make, big or small, leads us to a different outcome. In the end, the poem encourages us to be brave in our choices and trust our own journey.

This poem is very beautiful in my opinion, because it expresses how in life, you will be put in situations where your feelings will be invalidated in both ways. The poem tells us how our feelings and actions may lead to either a beautiful or insufferable moment, but sometimes you can't always choose the "good feelings". Society wants to see your grateful soul, yet they would turn away the second they see your sorrowful soul. But, at the end of the day, just like the title "Solitude", we have to go through life all alone, because no one could live our lives the way we live it. We have to experience all kinds of feelings through our journey in life, other people doesn't need our tears, but, we do.

This poem was written by an anonymous poet called "081" who usually posts poems on TikTok. The poem illustrates someone as a book.

It talks about how people think they know someone just by looking at them or hearing a small part of their story. They read this person like a book, turning the pages, but they don’t realize that what they see is not the full story.

The poem suggests that people often judge others based on appearances or first impressions. They may read the cover and know the title, but they will never truly understand the deeper story or the experiences that shaped that person (the "pen that wrote" them.)

In short, the poem reminds us that we should not judge others too quickly because there is always more to their story than what we can see.

Ode to a Nightingale is about a man who hears a nightingale singing. The bird’s song makes him feel calm and happy and he wishes to join the bird and forget his problems. The bird’s song makes him think about how short and painful human life can be, filled with suffering and sadness, but the bird’s song feels endless. The poet also reflects on death, and how the nightingale’s eternal song seems untouched by time or sorrow. In the end, he returns to reality, and is unsure whether his dreamy experience was real or just an illusion.

Even though they love each other deeply, they still couldn't experience the love they want to, unlike their friends. They know that their destiny isn't in each other hearts but they still love one another deeply. By always trusting and having faith, there's always a way. God showed us that he will always try and give us the best outcome he can. As our savior, he has done countless good deeds that give us happiness and sorrow. But whatever it is God has always arranged a plan for us and would help us if destiny meant it that way.

He considers the bird a new friend, but it can only say one word. Eventually, he realizes the bird will eventually leave, like other friends in his life, including his lover Lenore, and he slowly goes mad. This poem shows how loss can affect a person's mental health and the realization that you are alone can turn you mad.

This poem talks about hope. The author likens hope to an abstract entity, similar to a bird, that safeguards human souls and protects the human heart through rain and storm with aggressive consistency. In the poem, hope constantly sings a tune, calling out and providing light to each and every one of our souls. In the second stanza, the author describes the power hope has over us in the most dire straits, writing that hope becomes sweeter in stormier situations. The author also implies here that hope is strong and would therefore require a very large storm to be conquered. Finally, the author writes that hope can be found anywhere and everywhere, in the remotest lands and deepest parts of the sea. And that for all the help it brings to us, it never once asks us for any form of repayment.

In conclusion, this poem is an interpretation of hope, symbolizing it as a creature safeguarding us through the most difficult situations. It is a constant, reliable, and soothing existence, and an inherently powerful emotion that drives us to keep trying.

Robert Frost’s Dust of Snow conveys the idea that even the smallest, unexpected moments in nature can bring a change in perspective and lighten one’s mood. The crow, often associated with darkness or misfortune, and the hemlock tree, known for its poisonous properties, symbolize gloom or sorrow. However, the simple act of the crow shaking down snow onto the speaker unexpectedly lifts their spirits, turning a regretful day into something salvaged. This poem highlights the power of nature to influence human emotions and reminds us that beauty and positivity can emerge from the most unlikely places.

I chose the poem "Dreams" by Langston Hughes because it beautifully emphasizes the importance of holding onto dreams, as they give life meaning and purpose. The poet uses powerful metaphors, such as a "broken-winged bird" and a "barren field," to illustrate the emptiness of life without dreams. Despite its short length, the poem is deeply thought-provoking and easy to remember. It inspires hope and resilience, reminding readers to never give up on their aspirations. Additionally, its simple yet profound language makes the message accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background.

In this one, she explores themes of anonymity and humility, noting how much better it is to avoid the constant need for recognition, a draining effort she dubs “dreary.” These valuable quotes about life are even more significant in a modern world focused on fame, where everyone can be someone with the right social media account.

In my opinion, everyone has their own "true color," which is what makes each person unique. We shouldn't be afraid to show who we are to others who have different expectations of us, even if we might lose them because of that uniqueness. This song comes from the movie "Trolls", where everyone's color can complement each other, and the color we have can bring happiness to someone who is right for us. The songwriters, Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly said that this song is about a person's true personality, attitude, views, and prejudices, not just their first impression or appearance.

The reason I chose this poem is because it is simple but has a deep meaning. This poem describes a love that cannot be separated and shows a sincere love toward someone who is loved or cared for. This feeling of love is not only for a partner or boyfriend/girlfriend, but also for family or close friends. Besides that, this poem is also unique because of the way it is written there are sentence that are placed inside parentheses.
