A specialty of Lucita Preschool is that children are always told bilingual stories in both English and Vietnamese. Through repetition, the story gradually penetrates into young minds naturally. They immerse themselves in the story, become a part of it, and feel the subtleties. One story a week, the children remember the content and plot very quickly, and can help teacher Tomas follow the story.

This week, the children and teacher Tomas learned vocabulary about healthy and unhealthy foods. Moreover, they played some games with teacher.

At the beginning of the physical education class, the children and teacher Phu warm up to rotate their wrists, ankles, hips, knees, etc. with exciting music. This week the children have the exercise "Throwing a javelin and hitting a vertical target". Lessons develop your child's concentration and shooting skills to hit the target. The children were very happy and eagerly waited for their turn.

Tuần này các con cùng cô vào bếp làm món  "Bánh mỳ”. Từ các nguyên liệu đơn giản như: bột mỳ, sữa tươi, men nở... Tất cả các nguyên liệu được cô và các con chuẩn bị cẩn thận. Các con quan sát cách pha men nở với sữa ấm, rây bột, nhào bột. Bạn nào cũng háo hức muốn tự tay làm một chiếc bánh mỳ thật đẹp và thơm ngon để được thưởng thức thành phẩm của mình. Trong thời gian nướng, mùi thơm của bánh mỳ toả ra khắp gian bếp. Những chiếc bánh mỳ nhỏ mang về làm quà mời ba mẹ và anh chị em ở nhà. Thật là ngon làm sao!

This week, the children joined her in the kitchen to make "Roast meat". From simple ingredients such as: pork, honey leaves, bell peppers,etc. all the ingredients were carefully prepared by the teacher and the children. The children observed how she cut the meat and flavored the meat. Everyone was eager to make their own meat skewers to enjoy their finished product. Evergreen Garden Winter was beginning. Snow and ice covered the ground and the days were growing dark. Mother Earth called her creatures together and said, "It is time for our Evergreen Garden. It will bring warmth and light to the earth in deep winter. Who will help me?" "We will help lay a path through the woods': said the stones. "And we shall sparkle in the candlelight like the stars in the sky," said the crystals. "We shall lay a spiral path of evergreen branches," said the pine. "We shall hold the candles," said the apples, "for we have stars in our hearts," The queen of the bees said she would give the wax from her hive to make golden candles. "I shall bring new life to the garden," said the red, red rose. The animals of the forest spoke. They would guard the garden and make sure no harm came to those who walked it. The stars said they wanted to take part, and some fell to earth to light the pathway of the garden. Mother Earth thanked them all and said only one thing was missing — the children's love was needed to fill the garden. Then came the children, and one by one they walked the spiral of the garden, lighting their candles and setting them down on the golden stars. Soon the garden shone with light. "Now our garden is full of light. It shines with love in the dark winter's night,"

(Sing while the teacher walks the spiral, lighting her candle. She is followed by each child and parent, one by one. At the end the co-teacher or assistant lights her candle. The music ends and a closing is said.)

Câu chuyện mùa đông: Khu vườn Mãi xanh

Mùa đông đã bắt đầu. Tuyết và băng phủ lên mặt đất và ngày ngày càng tối, không còn màu xanh nữa. Mẹ Trái Đất gọi tất cả mọi người đến và bảo: "Đã đến lúc để trồng Khu Vườn Mãi xanh rồi. Khu vườn của chúng ta sẽ mang lại cho trái đất sự ấm áp và ánh sáng vào mùa đông lạnh giá.

Ai muốn giúp mẹ trái đất nào?"

"Chúng con sẽ giúp trải con đường đi qua rừng", những viên đá nói: "Và chúng con sẽ lấp lánh dưới ánh nến như những ngôi sao trên trời", đá pha lê nói.

"Chúng con sẽ làm một con đường xoắn ốc với các cành cây xanh", cây thông nói. "Chúng con sẽ giữ những ngọn nến", quả táo nói, "vì chúng con có những ngôi sao trong trái tim của chúng con",

Ong chúa cho biết cô sẽ tặng sáp từ tổ của mình để làm nến vàng. "Con sẽ mang lại cuộc sống mới cho khu vườn", hoa hồng đỏ nói.

Các bạn thú trong rừng nói. ―chúng con sẽ bảo vệ khu vườn và đảm bảo rằng không có hại đến cho những người đi bộ‖.

Các ngôi sao cho biết ―con cũng muốn tham gia‖, và sao băng rơi xuống để tỏa ánh sáng trên con đường của khu vườn.

Mẹ Trái đất ngắm cả khu vườn và nói

―Cảm ơn tất cả các con.

Chỉ có một điều còn thiếu trong khu vườn của chúng ta – đó là tình yêu của các em bé cho khu vườn.

Vậy là các bạn trẻ, từng bạn một, đi vòng quanh khu vườn, thắp sáng những ngọn nến và đặt chúng xuống những ngôi sao vàng.

Chẳng bao lâu, cả khu vườn tỏa ánh sáng. Tất cả cùng reo vang "Bây giờ khu vườn của chúng ta tràn ngập ánh sáng rồi, Khu vườn tỏa sáng với tình yêu trong mùa đông lạnh giá

(Hát trong khi cả lớp đi vòng quanh khu vườn, cầm nến và đặt vào các ngôi sao)

Mẹ đất ơi, ươm hoa trái,

xin cho hạt giống mọc xanh rờn;

Mặt trời cha, buông tia nắng,

soi sáng cho hoa cành tươi màu;

Chị giọt Mưa, xin rơi xuống,

cho lá non đâm chồi êm đềm.

Nhẹ nhàng đưa, anh Gió mát,

cho lúa cây múa nhịp đất trời

Trời và mây, mưa nắng gió,

xin giúp cho mỗi mùa lúa vàng. .

Sau những giờ học và giờ chơi năng động, các bạn nhỏ lớp Tulip lắng lại và trải nghiệm ngâm chân thư giãn. Ngâm chân giúp khôi phục lại sự cân bằng và hài hòa bên trong trẻ giữa động và tĩnh, làm cả cơ thể lẫn tâm trí đều bình yên.

After active lessons and playtime, the children of Tulip class calm down and experience a relaxing foot bath. Foot bathing helps restore balance and harmony within children between movement and stillness, making both body and mind peaceful.

Bên cạnh những giờ học các bé ngồi ngay ngắn để tham gia các hoạt động học thì hoạt động chơi tự do là lúc các bạn nhỏ mong chờ nhất. Các con được tự do chơi, tự do sáng tạo các trò chơi từ các đồ chơi có sẵn trong lớp học. Các con chơi sáng tạo và thoả thuận chia công việc với nhau khi chơi, tự lựa chọn đồ chơi mình muốn.

Besides the school hours when children sit neatly to participate in learning activities, free play activities are the time children look forward to the most. Children are free to play and create games from the toys available in the classroom. The children play creatively and agree to divide the work with each other while playing, choosing the toys they want.

This week we get to walk outside to feel the cool autumn weather. Playing outdoors is a great time and space for both physical and mental development activities for children. For children, everything happening in this world is new, lively, attractive and always stimulates curiosity. Children play in nature, freely choose games are suitable to their liking. Âm nhạc nuôi dưỡng cảm xúc và tâm hồn. Cảm thụ âm nhạc là hoạt động không thể thiếu ở Lucita. Mỗi giờ học âm nhạc đều để lại cho các con những cảm xúc khác nhau. Các con được hòa mình vào không gian riêng với tiếng đàn du dương. Tuần này các con cùng thầy học hát bài “Mùa Đông”, “snow flake”.

Music nourishes emotions and soul. Enjoying music is an indispensable activity at Lucita. Each music lesson brings to children with different emotions. The children are immersed in their own space with melodious music. This week, the children and the teacher learn to sing the song "Winter" and "snow flake".

At our Lucita school, there is a beautiful, clean and green vegetable garden. There are many types of vegetables in the garden that the chefs harvest to make lunch for the children. Every time they set foot in the garden, both teachers and students from Tulip class are very excited and actively involved in watering and catching snails. Children learn how to work usefully and enjoy cool and fresh air.

At the beginning of each drama club, teacher John and the children perform the song "Dancing dancing all around" to help the children feel comfortable before taking on their characters. This week, children move on to the story "Little Red Riding Hood", they can communicate and express the character's personality through their body and face. The children's happiness, confidence and a bit of chatter make the story more lively.

Every time of reading library stories, children are free to choose their favorite story book. Children can read and understand through the images in the story. They can listen and watch stories in both English and Vietnamese with teacher. Children can sit back, calm down and listen attentively to meaningful stories.

Children's classroom cleaning skill is held weekly at Lucita. The children are positive and happy in small jobs that are within their strength.
