Though your research, what was the main factor that led to the demise of the Harappans (the Indus River Valley Civilization) or where there a variety of different factors.  Please explain why.  The main factor that led to the demise of the Harappans was climate change due to the fact there was no sign of physical damage instead there was a great flood struck in the area.

3.) What are you´re thoughts on the Indian Caste System, do you think that it is still prevalent in their society today, even though it was abolished in 1950?  Yes, the poor are staying poor and the rich are staying rich.

4.) Should being born in a particular caste be considered your destiny in life, to always remain and live according to the rules and culture of that caste forever? No, it should not. If you are smart and work hard enough you should be able to get a job in a higher caste.

5.) Give one example of how the Caste system not only affects the type of job you have but also your lifestyle. You are stuck with the caste system so that means if you are poor you will stay poor and can’t make money because you can only have a job in your caste.

6.) What are your thoughts on the Dalits or Untouchables? I think they were stuck in a very difficult situation. For example, no one in a higher caste wanted to be around them and they were not even acknowledged.

If you lived in India, and you hated the work tied to your caste, would you try to get a job in another caste?  Please explain why or why not?  I believe people should be able to work in a different caste to have different experiences and learn new things. If I lived in India and hated the work tied to my caste, I would definitely try to get a different job in a new caste because I might actually like the new one. 

8.) Why is it considered shameful by many to marry someone from a different caste?  If you lived in India, would you try to marry someone outside of your caste?  Please explain why or why not? It is shameful to marry someone from a different caste because if you were to have kids there could be genetic mutations. That would cause the person in the marriage that is from a higher caste to drop down castes.

9.) Could you see this type of Caste System being implemented in today´s society, in the United States? Please explain why or why not?  I could not see this type of Caste System being implemented in todays society, because many people switch jobs when they’re not liking it and they marry anyone they want. Overall, the way the Caste System worked definitely wouldn't thrive in the United States today.

What is your opinion on open defecation, and the fact many Indians still practice it today?  I don’t think open defecation should be allowed because it could lead to the spread of diseases and I think the Indians that still practice it need to stop immediately so they will reduce the spread of diseases. If they stopped practicing this, the overall health of the population would increase.

Choose one of the following, and why is it so critical to life in India:  Atman, Dharma, Karma, Moksha  Atman is a word that refers to the universal soul which means it underlies all activities of a person. It is so critical in life due to the fact it makes you as well as your organs function. 

12.) What is Hinduism and where is it practiced?  Give 3 fun facts?  Hinduism is a major world religion that emphasizes dharma within its social observances. Facts about Hinduism is that the religion belives only in one god, it’s the 3rd largest religion in the world, and the religion believes in a circular rotation of time.

6.) What are your thoughts on the Dalits or Untouchables? I believe that they deserve equal treatment but I also understand that this was in BC and it was just what worked for their government.

Yes I believe you should be able to work in another castle, however, in order to do that you have to be married and I wouldn't want to have an arranged marriage.

It is considered shameful because it is like you are betraying your own family and own country by marrying someone else.

I think that just because they were born in that level they should be able to prove themselves to be helpful.
