We even had the pleasure of sharing a dilapidated trailer. During this time you have been more than just my colleague and administrator – you have been my friend and Camryn’s. I have enjoyed seeing your boys grow over the years and love hearing how they have turned into such wonderful young men with families of their own.

I will never forgot the day I returned from maternity leave, we didn't know each other very well then, but you came over with your huge smile, welcomed me back, hugged, and thanked me for being back, and then proceeded to ask how you could help me! I will never forgot your kindness, generosity, and support then and how it continued over the years! You have truly been a superb educator and administrator that cared about your staff and students.

I will miss seeing you every day, but you have earned and very much deserve to enjoy your retirement and I am very excited for you! I hope that you find the time to enjoy your family (as it continues to grow) and the things that you love to do! I wish you the very best of luck on the new adventures that your life is going to bring you! Please keep in touch!

Over the years you have not only been a administrator who I have been able to come to for educational and career advice, you have become a friend. We have shared years of family stories, shared book suggestions, and discussed everyday issues. You have also supported and helped me grow professionally as well as given me advice on raising boys.

I can't imagine RH without you, but know you are off to bigger and better things. Working with you when you arrived to the Herr seems in some ways like yesterday and in others like a dream. Through the campus redevelopment, the building of reading, math and science programs and of course convincing people to work in a new year round school - man it was great!

Not only did we work hard, we played hard. Racquetball at the YMCA, Basketball on Sunday nights, and of course bus duty. Although I have moved half way around the world you have stayed close to my heart. Friend, colleague, confidant and of course lead singer of any Earth, Wind, and Fire song.

May God continue to bless you and your family through this transition. I am sorry I can not be there in March but promise this summer we will meet up again.
