Al-Shabab

Al-Shabab was formed around 2007 after the ICU attacked TFG strongholds, later TFG overthrew the ICU and while some ICU members joined the TFG, hardcore members formed the Al-Shabab group, which is now one of the larger groups fighting in Somalia. Leanne Gelletly, P37.

Somalia has an interesting and diverse culture and has been struggling with war for a long time. Multiple different groups are involved in the problem and although attempts at peace have been made, no solution has been found to work.
