Hello, my name is Manuela Quintero. I went to San Andres School, which is located in the town of Girardota, in the northern part of the Aburrá Valley, in the department of Antioquia.

When did you graduate?

I graduated in 2017. I was 16 years old at the time.

What was your experience in high school like?

Those were the happiest years of my life so far — they were a lot of fun. I had many friends and learned a lot. During that time, I also met my partner, and we are still together.

Who was your best friend at school? Why?

My best friend in the last few years was Ximena. We supported each other a lot and had so much fun in class. She is a wonderful person — kind-hearted, affectionate, and very honest.

What did you do after you graduated?

After I finished school, I took a year off to rest. Then, I started studying for two years and graduated in Environmental Management. I began working as an analyst in a company.

What do you miss the most? Why?

What I miss the most about school is the time I had to spend with friends and do fun things, as well as the lack of responsibilities.

When did you start university?

I started university and finished my degree in 2022.

Why did you choose your career?

I love nature and the environment, and I believe that besides being my job, it is also my purpose.
