Many of us will doubt that our digital literacy is good enough.
During this course I have discovered that I am actually more literate than I thought. This insight is a product of me successfully trying to use a cpuple of digital tools, but also of my reading about digital literaracy, which halped me to assess my own strengths.
Getting students to have similar experiences will help us motivating them to cross the bridge.
Perhaps it is also a good idea to address concerns about privacy, copyright etc. early on.   • Learning buddy for the course to ask questions and learn from more experienced
  • Mention clear expectations from the blog and provide variable formats so learners are not intimidated - It is like setting up the space where you will reside (a graduate course, a social learning space, a community of practice)
  • Demarcate compulsory and optional - Professional vs Personal (Where you want to be a resident and where just a visitor)

Digital literacy should also include how to use digital tools and networks in a safe way.
