         <description><![CDATA[<div>Crossing the bridge to digital learning can be a scary thing. Many of us will doubt that our digital literacy is good enough.<br>During this course I have discovered that I am actually more literate than I thought. This insight is a product of me successfully trying to use a cpuple of digital tools, but also of my reading about digital literaracy, which halped me to assess my own strengths.<br>Getting students to have similar experiences will help us motivating them to cross the bridge.<br>Perhaps it is also a good idea to address concerns about privacy, copyright etc. early on. Being able to reflect on such themes is an important aspect of the digital literacy needed for crossing the bridge.</div>]]></description>

They need to be able to develop a specific, "professional," behaviour that makes it possible for them to maximize their learning experience. We must not assume that students are familiar with all our pedagogical tools, or that they have developed a "netiquette" appropriate for university studies. Clear communication and the estabishing of rules are of the essence.</div>]]></description>
