:The first and largest front of the war, the Sinai Peninsula front. The Sinai had long been a part of Egypt. It was quite a strategically important territory as it provided access to the Suez Canal, one of the busiest trade Canals in the world, connecting east and west.

:The Egyptians had roughly 100,000 troops stationed in the Sinai, while Israel had around 70,000 troops poised to invade.

:Israeli forces attacked on June 6th along with the aforementioned airstrike on Egyptian airfields. Beginning by capturing the Gaza strip, then taking just 2 days to push all the way to the Suez, it is reported that Israel inflicted 10,000 Egyptian casualties in one day alone. By June 8th, from an Egyptian perspective was all but hopeless

:Israel made offensive moves against Jordan beginning on June 5th, they invaded the West Bank, a Palestinian territory occupied by Jordan for protection. Inside the West Banks was he holy city of Jerusalem, an extremely important city for both Judaism and Islam. By the end of June 7th, Israel had captured the entirety of the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

:Syria waited 4 days to join the conflict, but on day 4 they surprise attacked Israel by bombing them, however, the attack was largely repelled as Israel had predicted that Syria would attack. There was some debate as to whether or not Israel should launch an offensive into Syria as well. On the 9th of June it was decided Israel would attack the Syrian border region, the Golan Heights. The attack began the next day and by the evening of June 10th the entire region had been captured by Israeli forces.

:Fought between June 6th-12th, 1967 (Hence the name, The 6 day war)

:Tensions had been building for some time, but debatably, Egypt caused the conflict by denying Israel the right to use the straights of Tiran for trade

:However, Israel struck first by launching a preemptive strike on Egyptian air-bases, crippling Egyptian ability to retaliate in the skies

:Only a week before the start of the conflict, Jordan had signed a defensive pact with Egypt, aimed at Israel. The aforementioned pact operated through a "an attack on one is an attack on all" policy. In addition, Egypt and Syria had close ties and shared a strong hatred for Israel, causing Syria to join on the side of Egypt upon the outbreak of the war.
