Although this is only a suggested schedule, it is important to maintain a learning routine during distance learning as much as possible. Hopefully you find this as a helpful guideline that you can adapt and implement how you best see fit for your family. 

MORNING MEETING/WARM UP: 
5-10 min: Practice letters with their sounds (independently or using Morning Meeting video), write the alphabet, set expectations for learning and behavior for the day

READING: 30-40 MIN 
15-20 min: listening to read alouds, shared reading, guided reading, phonics work (building/taking apart words), readers workshop lessons, sight word work

15-20 min: Independent reading of leveled books, practice sight words, read phonetic words and books, kids a-z.com, starfall.com, IXL.com, abcmouse.com, and/or other on-line resources 

DRAWING/WRITING: 30-45 min 
15-20 min: Writers workshop, directed draw and writes, journaling, “All About Me” books, ect. 
15-20 min: Review work, add details, trace, color, label, diagram, edit, publish

MOVEMENT
30 min: GoNoodle, Cosmic Kids Yoga, Walking/running, dancing, ect.

MATH: 
30-45 min: Bridges workbook, interactive notebook, count to 100 by ones and tens, count objects accurately, recognize numerals to 20, order numbers to 20, simple addition, simple subtraction, build 3-D shapes, weight and measurement
