Grendel on the other hand focuses on the negative aspect: Grendel will never fit in. Grendel can attempt to engage in society, but he will never integrate. He's monstrous, different, terribly foreign and violent in nature- yet, that is ironic due to the humans exact similarities. Grendel's story is cursed and nonadjustable.
