more and more people went to complain about his inconsiderate behaviour ,he first ignored them but the neighbour threaten to call the police reluctantly he switch the the tv off and never dared to do it again

They told him to care for others example people trying to study, sleep or rest. It took awhile to convince Mr Tan that what he was doing is wrong and very inconsiderate but Mr Tan finally realised that he should not be doing this as on day he had a very tough time at work and just wanted to rest, his neigbour's kids from upstairs were running around causing Mr Tan not being able to rest. By then he ha already realised how inconsiderate he was and if he needed to listen to his tv show, he could use a earpiece so he would not be disturbing others.

When John is revising half way, he heard his neighbor, Mr Tan's television volume getting louder and louder. Soon, John couldn't take it anymore. He got on his feet and walked towards Mr Tan's house. Once he reached there, he knocked on the door. The first try did not work, because of the television's volume. He knocked the second time and called out Mr Tan's name. John knew that he is not suppose to shout in the middle of the night, but he must, to prevent the volume getting louder. When Mr Tan heard the knocking sound and his name, he quickly turn down the television volume and went outside to check if someone is there. When he saw John, he asked him what is he doing here in the middle of the night. John told him that his television volume is to loud and explained why he shouldn't on so loud at night. The reasons are some of their HDB have babies,working  and studying like him. When Mr Tan heard it, he felt embarrassed because a 12 year-old-boy is asking him to turn the television volume down. When they are done with this, John went back to his house with peace and quiet.
