My name is Gülşen Arslan and I am from Turkey. I work at Hüseyin Cahit Korkmaz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Aksaray. I have been a biology teacher for 25 years.

I have a strong interest in environmental awareness, sustainability, values education, and learning through digital tools. I truly enjoy involving my students in this continuous journey of self-improvement and learning.

It gives me great joy to take part in national and international projects with my students, helping them connect with different cultures and gain 21st-century skills.

My name is Gülçin. I am an English teacher, I live in Ankara and I have been teaching here for 4 year. But ı am a teacher since 2014. Teaching is great joy for me and keeping me alive.

I am interested in exploring new places, cities and countries. I have seen lots of cities of Türkiye and some countiries from Europe. I really like teaching and being with my marshmallow students. When I see their face every morning I feel that life begins again for me.

I believe that teaching is a reciprocal process: while we teach as educators, we also learn from our students every single day. That dynamic exchange keeps the classroom alive and evolving.

My motivation for participating in the E-Twinning project is to help create an international, creative, and collaborative environment for my students. I also look forward to exchanging knowledge and experiences with my colleagues from different cultures and educational backgrounds.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the opportunity to use Web 2.0 tools and other emerging technologies while staying in active communication with other teachers and students across borders.

Outside the classroom, I have a deep love for reading and literature. Spending time in nature and caring for animals are also very important parts of my life. These interests not only enrich my personal well-being but also inspire the values I bring into my teaching—curiosity, empathy, and a respect for all living things.

Leading TAG meetings gives me the opportunity to facilitate meaningful discussions that help educators grow professionally. Kindness and collaboration are important to me, and I always aim to foster a supportive environment.I focus on community-building by encouraging English teachers to join professional groups and share their experiences.I am refining lesson plans for speaking clubs to ensure they are engaging and welcoming for all learners. My long-term goal is to integrate technology and foster global connections to make education more interactive and inspiring.
