This was generally what I had in mind when first envisioning it as my main goal was just to become more informed on the topic. However, I never knew how many scholarly tangents I would end up reading. I've gained a new appreciation for bibliographies, as much of what I've been doing is read papers, come across important quotes, and paste the source into google to find the paper it came from, read that, and then continue. That said I decided it would be more interesting to write something more palatable that would go further in actually teaching people about automation. This has mainly involved rating the stuff I have in terms of relevance to keep the paper more concise. I get up at 8:00, read a paper or a few articles, and then struggle through some google searches while I try to get a quick answer to a question that pops up. Also there's some note taking.
