Summary:
I have read from page 500 to the end of the book. Its hard to talk about what happened without giving everything away. But above and below ground each member of the seven were fighting Gaea's army. The doors of death were finally located in under world and mortal world, and they were taken care of. Also, the Athena Parthenos is being taken care of to hopefully stop a war between the Romans and Greeks.

Character Chart:
Percy Jackson- Son of Poseidon, one of main characters. He is dating Annabeth. The connection between him and his father become stronger and stronger through out the story line.
Annabeth Chase-  Daughter of Athena, one of the main characters, dating Percy. She is basically the leader of the group. She is very smart and is always calm.
Hazel Levesque- Daughter of Pluto, one of the main characters, dating Frank. She can summon precious metal out of the ground and she has the ability to use magic or the mist.
Frank Zhang- Son of Mars, one of the main characters. He can also shape shift and when hes really mad he can take out a whole army by him self.
Piper McLean- Daughter of Aphrodite. Piper always feels useless but little does she know her charm speak does so much.
Coach Hedge- A satyr that watches over the seven. Hes basically the crazy uncle everyone has to deal with during thanks giving. But he has a good heart and will do anything for the seven.
Iapetus- He is a titan the Percy brain washed to be good, and he is helping Percy and Annabeth travel through tartarus.
Nico di Angelo- He is the son of pluto and he is the brother of Hazel.
Arion- Hazel's extremely fast horse.
Calypso- She is the daughter of the titan Atlas. She is stuck on an island for punishment and every hero that lands on the island she falls in love with then the hero leaves.
Gaea- Evil goddess of the earth.
Hecate- Goddess of magic.
Reyna- Praetor of the Romans. She plays a big part in rescuing Annabeth and Percy.
Chiron- He is the leader of camp half blood.

Critiquing My Novel:
This novel was extremely interesting, and I love the entire series. Riordan used a lot of Greek and Roman diction. You will learn a good amount of Greek mythology when reading this book and series. This novel 100% engaged me from start to finish. Even though this book is in a series, the ending is not a cliff hanger, but I am still urged with excitement to read the next book. I would recommend this novel and series to everyone I know. This novel was a "good read" because it was interesting the whole way through with no dull moments. Another thing, I learned a good amount of Greek mythology which is knowledge I like having, and they helps me in school.
