Works great for the "one off" students who aren't usually problems in the classroom/hallways, etc.

Need to find a more serious consequence for students who have constantly been in the RRC room ie: level 2's. Admin needs to be involved. Revoked teams, trips, etc.

No more colouring sheets - colouring is not a punishment for most students. Need to find an alternate solution.

Good for Consequences for Outside and in the Halls, but I seldom use it in my own classroom.

The RRC Room is great for supervisors to have in their back pockets. I like to be able to do something with the issues outside that are not serious enough to send a student to the office.

However, in the classroom, I rarely hand out RRC and instead, I do my own consequences (detentions or apology letters) and then have a talk with the student(s).

Just because we only supervise the RRC one or twice a month and because of giving some power to staff outside or in the halls, I believe RRC should stay. However, I think some reform/consensus can be made for repeated RRC room issues and students skipping out on RRC.

Needs to be more serious consequences for repeat offenders.

Maybe it needs to become more of a "detention" room where students are sitting quietly or working on assignments - similar to homework club but with the acknowledgement they are there because of behavior, hands on, etc.

I feel it has been working but we are now at the point it needs tweaking. Especially for behaviours students absolutely know are not allowed (running in halls, wearing outdoor shoes inside, etc.)
