In fact, I almost forgot about it. I wasn’t until I A+ tutored at Field Elementary my senior year that I realized what a big role technology in the classroom plays. Technology is a great tool because it’s a fun way to get kids excited about learning. They can play all sorts of math, reading, or spelling games. Technology in a classroom is a beautiful thing. However, growing up I never had much technology in my classrooms. I maybe played some math games online and spelling games online here or there but never anything like they do today. I understand that there are many pros and cons to having technology in classrooms but overall, I think it’s a wonderful tool. Having technology in a classroom helps us as teachers individualize students learning which is huge because different kids move at different paces. For me I was a slow learner and I highly think I would have benefited from more online learning if it was available at the time. I honestly look forward to using technology in my classroom now. I look forward to seeing the impact it has in the classroom for the next several years. I also enjoy traveling anywhere from short road trips to flying around the globe. I like experiencing different cultures and seeing new sites.
