   An Inspiration with A SoccerBall
     
              Carli Lloyd is considered to be the best female soccer player in the world! Carli had lived in Delran, New Jersey for most of her life. This led her to playing for a team near by, which is called the Medford Strikers.
             Later on, Carli went  to college at Rutgers. She decided at 21 she was going to tryout for the ( U 21)  Us Women’s National Team. Sadly she didn’t make it. Carli almost lost hope, and worst almost quit soccer! Luckly, Carli's dad Stephen ran into an outstanding coach in a parking lot.The coach’s name was James Galanis. James told Carly she wasn’t fit and need to train a lot more. Now, Carli is an inspiration to kids and adults.
             About a year after, she was officially on the U.S.W.N.T. She just recently was in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Disappointing but true,  they lost to Sweden in penalty kicks in the quarter finals representing the USA.  Only a year before, was the world cup which was held in Canada. Some of the outstanding players who played along side with Carli are, Megan Rapino, Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, Kelly O Hara, and Abby Wambach (who is no longer playing). All together they won the 2015 World Cup.This was a big goal in her life that she faced. Another fantastic accomplishment is in 2016 she won Women’s Player Of The Year award! 
        Something I love about her and many other inspired young girls like me is she makes a goal and completes a goal always giving her all. Lloyd once said “ You have to fight harder, dig deeper and prove all the doubters wrong”. This is just one of the reasons she was named captain of her team. Team captain is a recognition when you are an all out team player. For example, she doesn’t let anyone get less confident and always keeps the spirits up. They also are hard workers like we all know Carli is. Carli is usually first to practice and last to leave!
                             Persistence, loyalty,kindness, hard working, a fighter, determination, and kindness, if this made up a word in the dictionary it would be the great, Carli Lloyd.
