These things did not exactly shock me because I have taken several EDTE courses and they covered a lot of Differentiated Instruction, however, I did find it fascinating that for number 3 it says to assess students with formative assessment and I was under the impression that both formative and summative were okay to assess students with differentiated instruction. So I learned something by looking this up.

It was great to actually think about activities that I would do to accommodate those different learning styles and I feel that is what makes a good teacher. The teacher who accommodates their students in the teacher that everyone remembers because the teacher is making it about their students and not about themselves.
