For instance, the way Nim gets the troppo tourists is by making the whole place smell, telling the sea lions to attack the boat, exploding a shark, and making the island covered in mist. In the movie, the way she scares the buccaneer ship away from the island was to send flying lizards at the tourists and make the volcano look like it was exploding.

Tropical islands are not the natural habitat for Bearded Dragons, but they are for Marine Iguanas. The director obviously knew it would be easier to get a Bearded Dragon, but getting a Marine Iguana is harder. They thought I wouldn’t notice!
