I think this story is very interesting. It is because the narrator loves animals more than anything, just like me. I have kittens as my pets and i love it so much. Meanwhile, the narrator favorite cat is Pluto, the black, intelligent cat.

I think the whole story is attractive. However, I felt disappointed when the narrator started to be an animal haters. He showed his cruelty towards animals. He shouldn't do that instead of love and care them. Furthermore, alcoholism is also one of the main causes of murder. This is because we act out of our control. Specifically, the narrator killed the cat and her own wife. I think the whole story was a rollercoaster of emotions. I like the story as it has a lot of lessons that we should learn from. I was hoping he would repent his actions towards the middle of the story but it only went downhill. This story shows how bad an addiction to drinking can be. In my opinion, the black cat can be considered as karma of the terrible things he had done in the past. I think the narrator is actually a good and kind-hearted man. This is because in the beginning of the story he told us that he loves animals. He owns a lot of animals. Not everyone in this world like and love animals. But he does. 
The only thing he was wrong when he do drinks. That ‘drink’ was such a bad influence to him. Alcohol made people addictive and even can change the person behaviour. And the narrator also changed after he drunk. He becomes abusive and not that kind person we used to know anymore. He murdered ‘Pluto’ which is his favourite cat and his beloved wife. He did it even though he knew it was evil. And that’s when all "good" had been driven from his personality. He became a monster.

I think he was a very kind-hearted and loving man.I said this because ,in the beginning of the story,he show us his affectionate love to his beloved wife and animals.The proof is when his wife bought him several pets and he loves all of them especially the black cat called Pluto.In my opinion,I was glad and feel touch when this world that full of person that hate animals had a person like him. It was all in the beginning,now my opinion change hundred percents.I think he is a cruel and evil man or should i called a psycho drunker.In my opinion,drinks had changed him into a heartless monster. Of course for me as a animal-lover especially cat, I am deeply sad with what had done by the narrator. Absolutely, I think I really do not like this story because of the cruelness be the main theme of this story. As all of us know, alcohol will bring more bad affects into our live. It will turn us into nonsense, never realize with all the things we do, neither it is good nor bad. The closest example we can take as our lesson, The Narrator, his life before taking alcohol drinking was so pleaseful, calm and truly happy. But after he made decision to walk on the bad and dark way, he became nonsense, all things he did and he went through his life felt wrong, pleaseless until he could murder his most-beloved cat and his wife. In my opinion, I personally think it is an interesting story. I like this story because the plot twist and ending was really out of my mind. I did not expect a loving story could turns into a horror story. 
Also there is a message that i got from this story which is drunk is not good for our health. It can destroy our life and happiness.  It also can lead us to do such an evil things. As example, in this story, the narrator said that he killed his beloved cat, pluto, and his dearest wife because he cannot control himself after he drink so much alcohol. My way of thinking, the narrator is inhuman.  At the beginning of the story, he said he was not the one like both parents expected him to be, a good boy who just doing a good things in a good life. Life started to change when he started taking alcohol. He does not even feel sorry of his wrongdoing. He felt happy when the black cat or which he called 'evil cat' was not around and his wife was inside the wall full of blood on her head.  At the end of the story, it was proven that he does not have any mental illness based on the hanging punishment was given to him. He awoke about those murders that he had done. In my opinion,the story is interesting only in the beginning of the story. This is because, in the beginning of the story, the narrator is lover animàl since young . He is kind to everyone and loved all of the animal that brought by his wife . Suddenly, I fell disappointed and very sad . This is because , the story was changing three  hundred sixty degree. The narrator was changed to one of the dangerous man in the world . All this happened because of he took the drinks . That drink change his life hundred percent. He started to hate all animal . He cut out one of the eyes of pluto . Furthermore, I'm very sad that he hanging pluto from the tree and let the pluto dead . After that , I think the narrator was become a good man after the tragedy that happen before . So I'm relieved a bit . But that is not happen . This story become more terrible and horror. The narrator was changed to evil man again. He wants to try kill the cat at the cellar . His wife try to stop the narrator. But the narrator become more angry and this make me more surprised. He killed his wife without guiltiness . After that, he cut the body of his wife into each part to hide the body . And he put the body into the wall. I'm very sad and  not expect this will be happen. Last but not least, I think this is all happen because the narrator took the drinks. The alcoholic give bad effect to everyone. I think 'The Black Cat' is a very interesting story as the genre is horror and creepy. This story begins with all of kind things. The narrator and his wife loves animal so much as they have many pets like sorts of birds, a golden fish, a fine dog and a cat. They were happier at early marriage. But, all the evil things happened when the narrator started drinks. Drinks make he changed into an evil person. He did not loves animals anymore but being so cruel to them. In this story, the narrator explains to us that he had changed 100% after he took drinks. There are a lot of cruel things that he did such as; he cut out one of Pluto's eyes using the knife because his cat bit his hand. He also being extreme when he hung Pluto from a tree until his cat was dead. That was a suspense scene since I speechless to know that. The most terrible and unexpected scene is when the narrator cut his wife's head using the axe and hide the body in one of the walls of the cellar.

Through my way of thinking , I think the story was superb in terms of horror and terror but as a normal person it might be too much . The twist in the plot happened really quickly to the point it mostly showed the darkness of an insane human . This story conveyed the badness of drinking alcohol and how extremely negative our minds can become . Example , the man gouge out Pluto's eye and hang him on the tree just because the cat rejected him . Other than that , he killed his wife with an axe and put her hidden the body inside the wall while blaming the cat as the purpose of his evil intentions . Both of those tragedies were really sad and it actually shook my heart just by hearing about it . I'm really glad the police found the body and arrested him . I think the narrator had a good and kind personality at first.This could be seen when the narrator take care and caring about animal.He also love his wife by saying he was happy to find that his wife loved all of their animal friends as much as he did.The narrator loved all his animal friend especially black cat named Plut.He even the one who gave him food.However my opinion change about him after he chose to drunker.He turned into someone who doesn't care about anything even her wife.He hit her wife and commited violence toward Pluto.For
example,he cuts Pluto eye because he was annoyed with Pluto.Then he continue drinks and this time he turnes into heartless and cruel person.He killed Pluto and even her wife.He also cut her into each part and hide her body in the wall.That is what I'm think about narrator.As the conclusion don't try to take acohol because it's something bad which is will led us to be a heartless and cruel person like narrator.

Q1 : Why is the title called The Black Cat? 

I think the title is called The Black Cat because the narrator told a story about how he was sent to his death by a black cat that resembled his cat, Pluto. Earlier in the story the narrator mentioned that he and Pluto were best friend. He'll took care of Pluto and Pluto would follow him everywhere around the house. Things started to go wrong when the narrator started drinking. His house caught on fire one night and it was the same day he killed Pluto. After the incident, the narrator searched and found a cat that looked exactly like Pluto except for the white patch on its chest. When the cat followed him home he liked it. But after noticing that one of the cat's eyes was missing he couldn't stand it at all. That's where things go wrong again and eventually the narrator were driven mad by the cat and killed his wife. I think the whole story is really interesting because it's all started to be a loving story yet ended with dark and horror story. I really like this story because I love horror and thriller story and I enjoyed it. The narrator is kind and loving person at first but then turn out to be a psycho murderer because of the drinking habit. I really love the narrator tone voice in the story because it give me the gothic horror story chill. I don't know why but I like the way the narrator murder the cat and his wife but at the same time I felt sorry for them. The ending is predictable for me cause I always watch horror and mystery movie so it's not that surprising. However, I felt sorry to the narrator because he has a lot of mixed feelings like sometimes he felt happy and out of nowhere he became so angry yet sad about the thing he did but doesn't regret it. Lastly, I hope that this story could turn into a movie because I would literally enjoyed it.

I do love this story because I think it is very interesting and full of lessons. This story tells us to always be kind to the animals and why drinking habit is not good for us. The narrator describes himself as a very kind man even when he was a little boy. He loves animals growing up and even got lucky to marry an animal lover. They have all kinds of animals that they took care of including a black cat named pluto, which is also his favorite. Up to this extend, i really like the narrator's personality because he was such a kind and loving man but all of that changed the moment he starts drinking. He became more violent and abusive towards his animals and even his wife. For me that behavior is already unacceptable but as time goes by the narrator even killed pluto. I hate him for doing such a gruesome thing. When i thought that he's probably going to change and being the loving person that he was again after the tragedy about his house got burned down and he actually found a cat to replace pluto, things start to escalate and he became more evil. He killed his wife and did not feel an ounce of guilt. As a person, i think that the narrator is so stupid for letting his anger to take over him. What i get from this story is that people don't change, they just reveal who they really are because as we all know people who are drunk will show us their true personality just like the narrator.

At the early of the story, I think that the narrator is actually kind and loving person because he loves animals. Not everyone would love animal like he did as we can see that there are a lot of people would torture animals in daily news. But then, when he began to drink, he eventually changed. He changed and become a completely different person. He became evil and kill his own cat. The heartbreaking scene for me is when he killed his own wife. He cannot think rationally as he was control by the effect of drinking. Therefore, we should not involved in drinking and must think carefully before doing something. The past cannot be repeated back if it is done. I really like the story because it is very interesting. The story started with the narrator describing himself as someone kind, loving and nice. However, as the story goes on, he started to change. He used to love animals and was very kind towards his wife, but after he started to drink, his personality started to change. He became annoyed with his own favourite cat, Pluto. He started to hurt the cat and his other animals. He even decided to kill the cat because of the hatred he felt towards the cat. Not long after he killed the poor cat, he also killed his own wife. It makes me realised how bad alcohol can affect our live.

This story is very interesting but the ending is very different than what I thought. As someone who loves cats i feel very disappointed with his action. The narrow become a very different person from his previous self. As we all know alcohol can damage the brain and causes us not to think rationally before doing something. The narrow even kill the cat just because the cat doesn’t like him. As a human being we should have the sense of humanity. In my opinion this story is good and interesting ting. This is because the story is telling us about the consequence of taking alcohol  . i feel very disappointed when the narrator started to change from a loving person to a heartless guy. besides, i do not like when he tortured Pluto, the cat and killed it brutally without feeling any regret. It makes me feel emotional just by thinking of it as it is a very brutal to do it at the living things. Even worse, he killed his own wife and did not feel terrible at all. I'm scared with the effect of alcohol as it makes you do terrible things to yourself and to the others.
