Our school held our first ever STEAM night in the fall and it was a huge success!!  We offered four different stations for families to visit.  We changed stations using the intercom and playing the Monster Mash.  At the end, we raffled off an ipod mini and gave out science gift bags.  Here is the link to the four engineering design stations that we used Engineering Challenges and the link to the letter we sent home: 
STEAM Night.  We also had lab coats made for the facilitators.
